I have Black Ops, worst investment in gamming I ever made, Shows where you get being loyal to a company / game I have been with COD since the first, this is where I part ways with them. Just wondering if I am getting old and grouchy or are there more out there that feel the same? I dislike buying and then being attached at the hip to Steam... that sucks I dislike having to buy map packs every few months to be able to stay on servers I dislike the fact they will not release code so people can build custom maps? I will send this to them as well, hope they injoy the read Awards

Hate it! So I continue to play COD2 & COD5, where new maps are always propping up and I pay no extra. Could do COD4, but I'm partial to the WW2 era anyway. At $60 a game, you'd think the maps could be provided or the players could make them, like the "non-Steam" games. As long as many people are buying them, they'll keep charging for them though! Awards

What we enjoy most is being able to play with our fellow XI members. We also had members/non-members buy the map packs so we can beable to play with one another. Most of us stick to one game until the next release and dont buy multiple games and thats probably why they get the map packs to kep that game fresh til the next major release.

Fortunately Gamestop allowed me to return the game for store credit. For an unknown reason Steam banned my access. I was so indignant I refused to try any appeal. I run everything stock, except for my homemade, manually applied, white out dot on my screen. I cannot begin to explain how pissed I was at a ban for absolutely no reason, everything was strictly stock and I took the ban as a personal insult. I later found out that perhaps my virus program blocked Steam and may have generated the ban. No matter, I was so insulted I am done with them now and forever. Death to Steam and it's developers.

I play COD2 and 5. I just haven't been able to get into modern warfare games like 4, MW etc. I like COD2. No money to shell out. I think the $45 I spent for COD2 back in the day has been the best $45 I have ever spent. Every time I leave it, I come back to it. Yeah the graphics are a little cheesy and you don't have the rank-up thing, and you have to put up with Campin' Pete and such, but nothing beats it, in my opinion, for just plain old run and gun killing and bashing and 'nading Awards
