What Maps Should Be Removed From The Mw2 Chicago Server

Just want to get an idea of what maps need to be removed from the rotation so when I redo it I know what to keep and what to get rid of.

I can't think of the name of it right now, maybe someone will know what I'm talking about.

The map where one team spawns at the end of a bridge with no way out but across the bridge, and the other team spwans on a hill looking over the bridge.

That one needs to go. All I can think of right now.

mp_ksfact map mp_kufah map mp_heavensource map mp_dead_lawn map would be my choices, play the maps or search thru google images ( what i did).

Hammerjacks, very unpopular map...Graveyard..even worse, big map but everyone ends up going through the portals and getting froze in the top of the house..Gold islands..the server always lags when this map appears, too much foliage causing it i think, hardly any cover on the map apart from the foliage to hide in. Pretty sure there is another map people really hate (can't remember the name) very dark and smokey not very popular. Oh yes just remembered that map where one team spawns on the bridge (Heaven source map) and you have to run like the clappers to get across before your spawn protection runs out, it is too much weighted against the team who gets the bridge end first, the other team just lines up on the hills and massacres them, would be a decent map if it weren't for the spawns.

I would like to see map mp_hidden_valley and map mp_simple_city not back to back. They are similar types of maps. Could you mix them in the lineup somewhere apart? Although if you forgot to put one back in...

 

I vote for the removal of mp_dead_lawn and mp_kob_breakout.(Teleporting graveyard place and the map with the stupid tunnels that never finishes before overtime)

 

I have actually grown fond of the crazy ass mp_heavensource. We've had some good battles on that map. I understand why people don't like it though.

the map with portals is dead lawn not graveyard SOB. i think the map u mean that is dark and smokey is graveyard, removing both fine by me as well as others previously mentioned by all. ksfact has the annoying roof ppl camp on on 1 side.long and annoying map. better maps available. kufah is the ridiculously bright map which CI's quite a lot. kufah needs to be removed imo and ksfact i would like to see removed.

The mod is fast and this is great but most of the maps are really small, this is annoying on 12v12 , can't run a few yards without meet a guy. Need more middle or big maps, with a little strategy... :rambo:

Open Warfare has the ability to look at the number of players and have map rotations for small, medium, and large games. So for 4x4 Bog would be in the small rotation but it would not be for 12x12 etc. If during the game the number of players increases then it will choose the higher rotation to get the next map. Never did it myself but it might be something to consider.

4v4 on large map is fun cause it's hunting eheh but it could be good on 12v12 to just select medium or large maps yeah. I didn't know that ability's existed.

mp_heavensource is the one where you spawn on the bridge and cant get off of. I don't play much MW2 but definately quit when this map shows.

mp_gb_sharqi has an issue and once the map is about halfway through, that too many bone error pops up and everyone get kicked.

Did the bone error refer to an 'arab assault' model? If so the issue isnt the map but a reoccurring problem with one of the stock arab player models. For whatever reason it has more joints or tags in the skeletal rig than the others. If too many models are attached to the body (claymores, stowed rifles, etc) that error can happen and there is some combination that is just slightly too much. Just dont know which.

The map 'novoupost' (or something like that) seems new map but.. we're spawning from 2 yards from the other spawn, totally unplayable.
