We started making a league that would be a little different then most normal tournaments. Basically the normal 5-man team with 2 subs possible as long as 3 original members are playing. Basic Freeze-Tag rules so all F-Tag groups can play. Now for something different and to get the different groups playing together, we are going to have 2 teams vs two different teams, shown in the example below. Every week there is a different combination. This can be done without off weeks for teams, as long as there are sets of 4 total teams. The below example has 8 teams. Sunday nights are the target night with a Wednesday night re-schedule date if needed. An additional option we are looking at is killing a random target player by knife. This ends the round. Scoring wise, the winning teams get 2 points, a tie gets all teams 1 point and nothing for a loss. Every week there would be one map played with a five minute round limit and one minute for sudden death. {IFTL} International Freeze-Tag League hosted by {BHF} Schedule example... The mod is based off the G13 mod and a new one is currently being finished. Now the dates and time differences is the hardest to solve. What we came to think is a final resolution is that there is no way you can make everyone happy. Therefore, we are basing this league off the States time-zones and if others want in, they know the times ahead of time that this will affect. Being Sunday night, it is normally a night that can be done with minimal problems for regular players. If this league works, we will be adding a division for a UK based edition and have the two come together in the finals of the year. This is in the process of finding out what groups will want in. We want this to be a way to help keep Freeze-Tag going strong. Also a way to introduce different groups to different players. Any questions, let us know. You going to use this site or make a new one? Sammy, a ladder system is pretty simple. Teams sign up and play. When you beat a team, you move ahead of them in the ladder. You can have different rules for how you handle matches, but basically you can challenge any team above you. So the team in first usually gets a ton of matches. Usually they are restricted so you cannot challenge a team more than say 5 rungs ahead of you. So you have to play your way up. And usually there is a tourney variation of the mod with tourney admin stuff in it. Rules can be that the challenged team picks the server, etc or however you want to make it. It's not our fault we run the best league in the world and all the best players in the world want to come here and play. It's the World Series, because, honestly - everyone knows there isn't a team NOT in Major League baseball that can compete with ANY MLB team. Except maybe the Royals. I would love to see the best Japanese team play the best MLB team. Considering that their superstars come play in the majors and most of them end up average or below average, I'm sure it would be a good laugh. Perhaps no other country wants to put up a team against the WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS because their best players are already playing in the Major Leagues. It's not called "The American Baseball League."
