The gist is once the data has been collected and is on the XI dedicated server it is then processed. The processing itself causes no stress on the game server and only on the XI dedicated server. When the data is processed the events are extracted: kills/deaths/hits/chat/connections/disconnections/ip data/etc/etc these are then put into a database, additionally the ban-system runs off of this data. Downloading the log file to view the chat is essentially what is happening currently, the only difference is that the bots take the last few lines of the log file and you would be downloading the entire file. .
