Did not find this in another forum. So I upgraded to Windows 8. Right now I do not recommend doing so unless you have one of those touch tablets. While playing COD WAW in the DM server I keep getting kicked by Punk Buster. I believe it is reading the Windows 8 program as an overlay. Tried looking for solutions and haven't found one yet. I do run the game through Steam. Had to turn the "in game" chat feature off in Steam before as PB was reading it as an overlay as well. Has anyone had this problem or found a solution to this yet?? Try elevating your game to admin ("run as administrator") at least for one session just to see if it needs to initialize things properly by creating files in places UAC might otherwise prohibit. Metro BLOWS but after you manage to totally eradicate Metro,it's a very very fast and Stable OS.Alot better than most OS when they were 1st released and the way it handles Memory usage is amazingly efficient.My Win 7 machine uses almost 2 gig of memory just sitting there idle on the Desk top.My Win 8 machine uses MAX 250mb sitting idle on the desktop.This is with Norton Utilities and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO retail version installed and actively scanning on both machines.
