FYI: Corsair Vengeance K90 keyboards will NOT survive a full tall glass of Kahlua and milk over ice being spilled on them. Cleaning with distilled water and 99% pure rubbing alcohol will not help.   :censored:

(Typed from my new K90 with no liquids anywhere near it).

Is there a medal for accidentally destroying gaming gear? This has got to be at least the 3rd or 4th Kb that I've ruined like this over the past dozen years. Anyone else got similar horror stories?

lady managed to spill a glass of tea into the case of her new build. less than 24 hrs after it was built.  my top usb and audio ports dont work on my tower due to tea spilling in there.  I had a new phone and it slid off the center console when I hit the brake, it landed in my full cup of tea.   tea and electronics are a common occurrence around this place

In last 3 years I have destroyed 4 phones.....1 I left on roof of car when putting golf clubs in boot then ran over it another 2 I lost when I put them on dashboard and when turning hard they flew out the open window.

But the last one was my wifes fault she put my jeans in the wash that I left on the bed while taking a shower and my brand new S3 was in the pocket.....

Rolf good job my daughter works for a phone shop and gets me replacements very cheap lol.........

I remember dropping my work cell into a toilet once.  Popped off my belt clip and bloop.  Took off the cover, pulled the battery, and put everything into a bag of rice to dry it out.  Afterwards, phone turned on but unfortunately the antenna did not pick up any signals.  It was worth a shot.  Everyone's stories are fun to read.

Was sitting at a bar with a loaner MacBookPro Retina 15". Was out of town onsite at a clients and my custom build was on order. Bartender had just poured me a dram of scotch and set it next to the laptop which I was working on. Another patron of the bar, who had been partaking for several hours already, came over and with a single swing of an arm the laptop keyboard now was swimming in 12 year old single malt. And I thought "Great now I'm going to be buying 2 new laptops"!
