I ventured out and purchased Battlefield Bad Company 2. After a lengthy install I got to play about 30 minutes before I had to stop make the kids breakfast. NOW I CANNOT CONNECT TO ANY SERVERS. Apperantly this is a widespread known problem. Does anyone have any info on what EA is doing to correct the connection issue. Now when I open it up, the Updater for BFBC2 comes up and wants me to update - it tries, but then tells me my game data files are corrupt and I need to reinstall the game! WTF ???? My main problems now: I cannot add any favorite servers, my server History is blank and the server browser does not show the server pings. So, it seems the connectivity is still an issue. Once the maintenance is complete you will experience an improvement to your online experience. This will be extended maintenance to allow the new hardware to be installed and affect all three platforms (PC, PS3 and Xbox 360). Since launch a week ago, BFBC2 has already put EA servers through the following stress: The 4 different soldier types have gathered a score of more than 34 Billion. There's been more than 400M kills made. 1.3M roadkills Squads and Teams have assisted each other to 6.2 Billion points. Rugger, Is it posible to run serveral gamemodes?
