It has gone from a straight shooter mod to something full of gimmicks and traps. No long do you have to face your apponent but rather set traps or lay gimmicks for them. I hope this a temp change. Rugger was experimenting with different mods to see what effect it had on the CI issues and they have been much better since this mod has been running. The sentry guns get to be a bit much, especially when there are 3 or more going at once mowing people down as soon as they spawn, but it's all new and people are having fun with it. I actually like the server better with slightly smaller crowds and something different to play for a change. I rarely played DM in the evening because of the bad CI's and constant spawn killing, but it's been a fun change for the last week for many of us. There was a different mod prior to that one, where you had some spawn protection. The sentry guns when set up can take you out on spawn repeatedly, so kinda defeated the purpose going to new gimmicky one! Beside, I like the WW2 genre and though the guns are modded, the are no helicopters or sentries!! I'd play COD4 or MW if I wanted that!! Just my opinion!! Still have the CI issue. No Panzer. Haven't played much this week hoping the Admins hear everyone bitchin and change it up. Xi had the last real run and gun server and now it's a spawn camping with a sentry gun nightmare. I used to complain about the spawn camping on the other MOD but using the sentry gun on a spawn point is not a good game. I was just on a few minutes ago and experienced qute a few latency problems as did a couple others here in the west. Sherm ended up leaving because his ping was 500+ and wouldn't come down.
