Im really tired of all these frauds, making $$ off this crap...on TV and also local 'readers' or whatever they call themselves...

fortune tellers, diviners, yadda, yadda....

 

UFO'S,  BIGFOOT,  ORBS,  SPIRITS,  ANGELS OF LIGHT, GHOSTS, SHADOW PEOPLE, ETC....

ALL come from the same source,  the DARK SIDE OOOhHHH

 

Spirits CAN touch and manipulate all things on earth, except US!  So they can change form, and appear as whatever, an orb, to make crop circles, or a big orb, like a bigfoot that throws stones!

 

BUT they  are basically winning our attentions.  Why? 

It IS a distraction!

from what we should, or might otherwise be doing...

and whatever we give attention to... we give power to.  like a form of 'worship'

Everyone enjoys the attention of others right?

 

I have been there, and was deep into it,  up till my late 20's...was raised like that.

I can't really be tired of something that I never believed in the first place. I find that people who believe in a lot of that crap don't have much of a grasp on reality, and they think anything is possible, such as a dead-beat cattle rancher starting an armed revolution in America.

Whether I believe in it or not is one thing but why would anyone get soo upset at people who do believe in it..every person is entitled to an opinion. I myself have seen things I cannot explain..that does not make me a bad person for it. There are a lot of fake people out there, for sure, but they are not just the people who say they can see or speak or even see things. in my opinion If someone believes in something it is better than not having any beliefs at all. I am not a religious person at all but I do believe that we were all created by something. As for the people making money off this stuff...can you really blame them? If someone wanted to give me a television series and pay me a bunch of money why the heck would I pass that up?

I think it all boils down to what interests you. Growing up in Florida, I wanted to enter the Bermuda Triangle and see it for myself. Crossing the Gulf Stream was rough but the rest of the trip was uneventful. Today, the area still remains a curiosity to those of us who like a good mystery. I say let people be curious if they wish to be.
 
As far as the spiritual world goes, I just remember this verse:

One night working second shift I came home and ran in the house to get my wife to come out and look at what was going over our house. We came out and watched this big round thing with hardly any lights on it go over our house and we didn't hear a thing. WTF was that? And it was going really slow.    That's the bottom line for me in ALL things, especially those that go bump. And to date, no one has proven beyond doubt any of the aforementioned UFOs, bigfeet, ghosts, goblins and what have you.

   That's not to say some of these things don't exist. For instance, it's all but a given that life exists throughout the universe. We can say that because life exists here, and appears to be a natural process of planetary evolution. Have we been "visited?" There's no concrete evidence of it.

   No one should be belittled for what they believe. My concern is that unsupported beliefs can lead to bad public policy that injures all of us.

   Global warming is one example. There is no irrefutable proof that mankind has affected climate long-term. Yet, this administration has wasted hundreds of billions of dollars on green energy solutions that are not economically viable, many of which have gone tits up. Various departments of federal government (EPA, etc.) and even state governments are making laws and regulations based on what is, in effect, a myth. You can't even burn wood in NY state any more. Ridiculous!

   And then you have the conspiracy theorists who believe all manner of nonsense and see the government as the enemy. In many ways, it is. But would we be better off without it? This is what led hundreds of armed citizens to Cliven Bundy's ranch to fend off the federal government, which was merely carrying out a judicial process against a thief who has stolen from YOU the taxpayer for the past 20 years. These summer patriots thought they were protecting the American way of life. But it's that kind of ignorance that poses a threat to the peace, and therefore to all of us.

   We all would be better off to take nothing at face value.

Agree with you Sonovabitch. People just want to put everything 'ordinary' in  a box..or closet.. Hence the term of gay people 'coming out of the closet'. If we are talking about distraction, I would say the MSM is the worst offender.    I didn't visit that website but if folks go there and it makes them feel better then who cares.    Who are we to judge and decide what else they "should" be doing.
