The epoch/overpoch mods are zombie survival mods just like day-z but 100 times better with vehicles and base building in case people don't know. But it turned out that only seniors can post polls so I didn't want to hassle them anymore. I went and played on CCG's Overpoch servers for a bit to see if there was some huge thing I'd missed but no, there really is fuck all to do in arma3 epoch/overpoch. Even on busy servers it's essentially coastal deathmatch without zombies. The supposed other natural hazards... well I've heard random footsteps on my empty server, but the supposed super stealth killer thing never did jack shit even when I went for coffee, the headless kamikaze zombies made a decent attempt once - which is how often I've seen them, and the other things are all non existent either. So really, there's nothing to shoot and nothing to worry about other than players, which means you can really just sit in a bush and pretend to be a bit of grass until someone comes by and poke a hole in them. So I'm holing on for Exile. If that turns out to be good I really do want to setup a server for it. But Epoch/Overpoch? No. There's a limit to the amount of tedium I'm willing to sit through.
