I used to have a fresh water and a salt water tank. Was enjoyable for the time I had them but time got a bit hectic so never found the time to properly take care of them. If you can keep the environment somewhat stable, maintenance should be fairly minimal. Just take care of the fish types and ya , no real plants. They are nice and all but found can cause water stability issues and some grow and migrate like wild fire.Enjoy though. JohnnyDos Posted June 24, 2017 Member ID: 77 Group: Fallen Members Followers: 111 Topic Count: 1018 Topics Per Day: 0.18 Content Count: 7527 Content Per Day: 1.32 Reputation: 9175 Achievement Points: 69486 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 47 Joined: 09/02/09 Status: Offline Last Seen: January 8, 2020 Posted June 24, 2017 True Loader,I forgot to mention under gravel filters and the food ah yes,I actually would feed earth worms to them that I would pick I would pick and sometimes I'd leave a door open and a few flies would get into the house,then the flies would end up trying to leave but ended up on the window screen or where ever there was one and from there I could catch them and feed 'em to the fish.Fish would practically jump out of the tank.I also found out that Angel Fish can get very large and aggressive.Fish like guppies and swords seemed to get that ICK(or white spot) disease.Neons are pretty but my fish thought they were food.LOL One last thing the larger the tank the better and get yourself one of those siphons that can clean your gravel without sucking it all the way up and out of your tank.
