ARMA 2 & 3 Servers up

Funky Josh is gonna try to get a couple ARMA servers going. Here are the details for the servers. Give it a try and leave feedback here

Any chance for a dayzmod server with custom mods? Ive been an admin for a server like that

@Chips Ahoy The Arma 2 server is Dayz Epoch with the Overpoch and origins mod, work is still in progress on all 3 servers, The arma 3 servers are Exile and Epoch, Exile is just basically the Hardcore version of exile. Good to hear that you used to be an admin as I need a few people to watch servers as me and FunkyChickn can't watch all 3 servers at once, so please PM me on that one .

 

To get into the servers

Arma 2; you will need to download Arma 2 and Arma 2 operation arrowhead from STEAM,  you will also need to download DayZ launcher from this link http://dayzlauncher.com/ this allows you to join the server and installs the required mods for you, once the mods have finished downloading, you need to go to advanced and launch the mods installed (you only need to do this for the first time).

Arma 3; you will need to download Arma 3 from STEAM, you will also need to download a3 launcher from this link http://www.a3launcher.com/ this allows you to join the server and installs the required mods for you, once the mods have finished downloading, you need to go to advanced and launch the mods installed (you only need to do this for the first time).

I'd be glad to help, i know my way around the game but i gotta ask what are we gonna use for a tool? Infistar? Its the one i know how to use

servers are all down at the minute, I'm sorting all the automatic restarts out, Arma 3 exile will be up and running again soon

@Chips Ahoy yes infistar is what I use on all 3, arma 2 is the only server fully complete atm, arma 3 are still in progress when empty, @iboomboom I have started up the exile server, just see if you can connect please come into teamspeak and I will sort it

Always wanted to get Arma 3.

 

I have DayZ Standalone and I play it occasionally. All I get done doing is looking around for Food and Water. Or Building a damn fire because I'm to cold or some shit. Then after hours of collecting food and water and crap I find a gun. Minutes later some asshole snipes me or Zombies eat me because I shot at a zombie with a pistol or shotgun and the gun shot made all the zombies within a 1000 mile radius run straight to me. Fuckin Bull shit lol.

ok so @iboomboom, The exile server is running, I will have to stop it at some point tomorrow to upload the antihack dll files and that's it, I would also appreciate a hand with the servers as I cant do them all at once but I will need you in ts for that ok ??, @J3st3rI was thinking of opening a standalone server but not got to it, do you have any of the armas, you can jump into ts at any point if im on and we can sort something out maybe ? @codpiecewill be good to see you man !!!!

I don't like the A3 launcher it is kludgey...

When I add the exile server it says creating... in status and its stuck on Connecting... when I try to connect.

@iboomboom, I have fixed the issue the server was trying to run the wrong map to the start.bat line ive been in this morning

Please add this option as well, for those who use Steam. You can download the ExileMod from their official website too and install/load it manually. It would be informative to have options.

I was on there for an hour, Ill be on again tonight.  I haven't played Arma 3 in a while and this is the first time with this mod. Seems good thought, I was worried there were going to be zombies chasing me :0
