COD4 Problem

My favorite weapon in COD4 MWD DM is the Sarich 308. But where is it? The only way I can use that weapon is to take it off a dead guy. Players tell me to simply select it from "Choose Class" but it's not in the list. Here's what I see after I select Auto-Assign.
I reloaded COD 4 on a new system last year. Did I perhapps leave out a file/upgrade?

If you pick the first class, that should allow you to choose the weapon.  Each class has its own group of guns.

What Shadow said - pick the HK416, and then it will let you change to another weapon in that class, such as the Saritch 308 that you are looking for

@HarryWeezer the class you show on the screen are the default ones.

Every class could be customize like you wish , weapons sidearms type of nades , killstreaks, perks etc.

except each class is a defined type of weapons  like one is assaults rifles, one is shotty , one is sniping rifles , machine guns ,and one other..
