Well we got paid today the CPP deposits are in the bank Wohoo! In Canada we have 2 GOVERNMENT pension Plans, CPP Canadian Pension Plan or if you live Quebec the QPP. These 2 plans are co-pays. Meaning the employer and employee pay into it your entire working career. It is directly proportional to the amount you make up until a MAXIMUM AMOUNT PER YEAR. These plans can be taken at 60 years of age at a reduced rate. If someone chose to take it at 60 and another took there’s at 65 the two individuals would have the same amount at 72 years of age. That is if all the contributions over the previous years were equal. There are other contributing factors that would change things but for this post they need not matter. The second GOVERNMENT pension is OAS Old Age Security! This is a set amount from the Canadian government EVERYONE gets the same starting out at age 65. This pension can be drawn back depending on your total income. So if you were a person who made good money all your life were thrifty and saved for retirement and accumulated a nice nest egg or if you worked for an employer who had a great pension plan The GOVERNMENT of Canada will REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF OAS you are entitled to. I will be 64 this May and I’ve been receiving my CPP since a month after my 60th birthday at the reduced rate. My wife receives a smaller amount as she only worked outside the home before our daughter went to school. The wife will receive her OAS this fall a month after her 65th birthday. Yes weed married an older woman. She tricked me with her 38 DD’s 22waist 36! I’ll receive my OAS In June 2022. Bring it on! If someone had to live of these 2 pensions they would be living on a minimal amount so the OAS would be topped up by what the Canadian Government call the Old Age Supplement again this would be a meagre existence. So there for it is of the utmost importance to have some sort of savings if a person is to have a retirement beyond watching tv and looking at 4 walls. I fall into the group of people who have no employer/employee pension plan. I did however work as an electrician all my adult life and managed to save a few dollars in a thing we call RRSP Registered Retirement Pension Plan. This is a plan put in place by the Canadian government. This is the SINGLE BEST WAY FOR THE AVERAGE Canadian to save for retirement if he or she has no other pension besides CPP or OAS. Every dollar put into RRSP is tax free UNTIL it is taken out. I normally paid about 45% taxes on every dollar I made. So if I made $100 I paid $45 tax. So if I put this $100 into RRSP I actually invested %100 if I paid the tax on my money I could only invest $55. The whole idea is to ONLY take this RRSP money out after retirement at a lower tax rate. My tax rate now where I’m not working anymore is 24.68%. So essentially I made 20% on my money simply by DEFERRING THE TAXES on that money. Now if you were smart where you invested your RRSP contributions over the years you would have made more money towards retirement. The single best way for someone in Canada to save for retirement is the RRSP! Sadly some folks never get the opportunity as they are stuck in loop of life just trying to survive on a minimal wage.3 points

I often wondered why @AyaqGuyaq disappeared, but I think I have the answer, I was doing my normal daily browsing this morning and straight after pornhub and how to hide your stash I stumbled on crime statistics. Wow who would have thought Anchorage was so bad, #1 in charts easily, I mean wtf? no poverty and your balls drop off going outside, what is happening? Then it dawned on me these statistics were just about the time my buddy left for California, so I dug a bit deeper, no surprise to find the crime rate rose after his arrival too ?? my buddy is obviously a hitman or bounty hunter (that's not a coconut sweet for UK readers). Now he's awol I put 2 and 2 together, he always got on 'real well' with @Icequeen who is also unusually quiet? Do you think they are hiding out together, a modern Bonnie and Clyde??. Everything points to it, his knowledge of crime and guns, her knowledge of targets, I'm keeping my eye on crimes in the mid west involving a team, bet I'm spot on? Finger please Queenie xxx ps also explains how Stephanie (aka mrs Joe) is a great killer, especially of poor Rob2 points

COD4 Ban Appeal
YACCster reacted to Th3_Hunt3r for a topic
This appeal and its replies are in a public forum and can be seen by all. What server were you banned from?: IX MW2 Freeze tagWhen did you get banned?: 1/16/2021What was your in-game name?: [TotalKillaz] Th3_Hunt3rWhat is your game GUID (if known): Dont know but if said how to check , can doWhy do you think you were banned?: I'v never played on your servers before and wasnt aware of some rules. One map i aparently was spawn camping and got kicked. When I came back and asked why i got kicked admins described me so i said that wont happen again. Next map i was on pretty high score (top3) was running around the map all the time so i dont get banned or kicked or whatsoever, soon i got kicked again and when i asked why one of the admins said i'm aimbotting , and kicked me again without letting me saying a word. So i connected again and other admin said im wallhacking and spawn camping and instantly banned me. I mean, we all know what aimbot looks like and if this admin cant recognise what is aimbot and what isnt.., i'm speachless. This is such abuse of power, i dont know whos managing the servers and who you give privileges to but i want this to be reviewed carefuly so that doesnt happen in the future again, to me or to some other people out there. Health Update On WeednFeed's Dad
major-mark63 reacted to WeednFeed for a topic
First let me say thanks a bunch for all your prayers, wishes and kind thoughts. We really do appreciate them all. Dad has been having Dialysis since December he started out once a week but now is up to twice a week. It was very hard on him the first 7-8 times. He was sick to his stomach for 2 days after each treatment. As you can imagine he is quite scared. He has decided not to go forward with the home dialysis as it is quite complicated and at 88 and mom 85 it would be too much for them to handle. Every time the Doctors ask him about his wishes to continue he tells them he has TOO MANY Great Grand babies to love and he's not going anywhere. We have had the most amazing conversations about family, love and life's experiences. At 88 he's seen a lot, although he is exhausted and is now having a little trouble concentrating his mind is pretty sharp. The last 3 treatments have been a lot easier on him and he is now sleeping better and his appetite has returned. Again thank you all! I love my Dad! If you love someone please tell them. Ammo & Firearms Prices & Training
SirThunder reacted to EastCoast50 for a topic
First, I'm an avid 2A (Second Amendment) supporter here in the states. However, I'm a firm believer in training and requirements for a concealed carry permit. The problem that we've discovered in U.S. is that too many firearms owners believe that they can carry without training. It's a false narrative in the 2A community. Civil lawsuits, arrests and convictions prove that ideology. I have well over 30 years of firearms training ... consistent and ongoing. It's a skill that deteriorates over time. There is no such thing as completing an online course and/or taking an eight hour live-fire range course to be considered "qualified" to carry a firearm for self defense or to defend others. Period. Reality is much different than opinion and Hollywood movies. Those that believe otherwise either have no training or have never been involved in a real-world shooting incident. Or both. Fact. Beyond that disclaimer, we have a problem now related to firearms, ammunition availability and costs in the states. Why? Ammo hoarders with no training, price gouging and incompetent firearms owners. It's a recipe for disaster. The ammo manufacturers are doing their best to keep up with supply and demand. Gun shops are making a killing ... and rightfully so. Price gouging is not quite so righteous, whether it's a gun or ammo. Those with actual training have been accumulating ammo for years -- both "range" and defense ammo. By the way, your range ammo will perfectly suffice for self defense purposes. A bullet is a bullet whether it's an FMJ, hollow point, lead-free or some other over-priced "specialty" round. If you can't defend yourself or someone else with "range" ammo, then you don't understand jack shit about guns and ammunition. Too bad, so sad. The fact is that many old and new firearms owners (with or without training) are scooping up ammo and guns and paying heavily for it. There is no legitimate reason or purpose for it. If you actually HAVE consistent, routine training and have acquired ammo or a firearms over the years, then you already know this fact. If you're a "prepper" with real training, then you also know this fact. Just because you buy ammo or guns now at ridiculous prices does NOT mean that you're prepared. Firearms and ammo won't save you -- or anyone else -- if you don't know how to use them correctly and legally. I have no doubt that there will be some negative comments about his post. The FACTS exist and prove that I'm correct. If you're an idiot, research my statements and get some training. The right to own a firearm in no way protects you or others when/if you use it.1 point -

Yop yop/Hello all
Timmah! reacted to {ESG}*Goku* for a topic
@Timmah! There were no pillars this time. By the way, most of the time, you see pillars when sun is low over the horizon. But last month, I got my first light pillars, over the Saône river, caused by the lights of the cities in front of my spot. Usually happens when the temperature is really low (at least, in the cloud were the crystals form): Short time lapse And there is one of the pictures I took, with Saturn & Jupiter really close to each other in the sky (was scouting for a spot to watch then on the 21st of december, the great conjunction) Most of the time, you can have what is called a sun pillar, at sunset or sunrise, with high cold clouds (cirrus clouds or even contrails): The 3 towers @a1rbud Yop yop milady. Fun playing with you too. Bis bald.1 point -

Timber! The Logging Experts - On Sale Now!
GhostfaceJim reacted to RobMc for a topic
@GhostfaceJim found one for you buddy, it's got everything, no action, no plot and is romantic, not too soon for your Xmas list? Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties Released: 1993 Platform: Panasonic 3DO Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties is an adult-oriented “romantic comedy” graphic adventure game/dating sim developed and published by Kirin Entertainment for the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer. The reception to the game played a large part in the failure of the 3DO console, which was already struggling at the time of the game’s release. The game stars Edward J. Foster and Jeanne Basone as John and Jane, two people who are being pressured by their respective parents to go out and find a spouse. The player’s task is to get John and Jane together. The game’s title is a good indication of just how terrible it would be and didn’t exactly help to promote sales. Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties plays essentially like a DVD menu or PowerPoint presentation, with very little interaction or skill required. With a poorly written script, terrible acting, and an absurdly sexist storyline the game is one of the worst to ever be released.1 point -

This is somewhat true. If there using the no sway long range weapons the bullets have been changed to projectiles. Which respond to different clips in game. Like the tanks they can't go through glass and foliage. They also tend to blow up on impact like a projectile would. Where a bullet would penitrate. Also we can't tell what clips the mapper used in game and where. Once we started modding the game all sorts of weird shit happens. Its the fun of modding1 point
