I brought out our knives only server as a regular thing, nice place to hang out with your friends and have some slashing fun. A bit different from the tourny setup, it's set with 3 pre-set load outs, see the welcome screen on the way into the game. Just for a change in the normal DM, run & gun pace, I've put in DM2 with a few small tweaks. > Will run map rotations from DM1, these are mainly urban maps. > A bit slower overall speed > Gravity lowered so you can jump higher. Was the only way I could get a higher jump. > Some of the other none essential stuff ie., parachute in, body search, etc. Hope you enjoy the change. Here is my take on this. He was a scumbag, karma did it's job. About that condo that collapsed, so far my take on that is that the HOA found out about the issues and kept postponing recommended repairs to 1. prevent astronomic condo fee increases and 2. no inconvenience themselves and the condo owners of the mess, noise and disruption. ERGO, is the HOA liable? Maybe. Either way, horrible tragedy, but looks like it could have been prevented/postponed. Look. Nothing lasts forever, dams, bridges, buildings sooner or later "break". We humans are smart enough to make these things, but then dumb enough to prevent disasters from those made things, from time to time. We need wise regulations and follow up laws that make sense. And so on and so forth. Gosh, here I am typing this when I could be in a map shooting at you idiots...

Eraser and Essie ( and who else is interested ) if you want to make a bind to ask people if they like or dislike the map. in console type the following : /bind key "say ^colorDo you like this map? please type like or dislike" where key is the key you press to show the text and color is a number from 0 to 9 to display the text in color. for example as seen in the picture : /bind F9 "say ^5Do you like this map? please type like or dislike" i use the function key F9 and the color is light blue if you can't bind a certain key it might be that you have to unbind it first : /unbind key ( where key is the key you want to unbind)

hello Merlin, in the attachment i placed an excel file. i noted the day,map,hour, and number of people that liked/disliked a certain map. Eraser adviced me to put it in an excel file ( many thanks for the tip Fred ) so others can fill in aswell. I only play for 1 hour to 2 hours maximum, so it would be nice if other xi members who play at other hours also fill in the excel file. ( during the game we asked the players if they liked or disliked the map ) That way we can get a good view of it at the end of the week. here is also a picture of the file. likes dislikes.xlsx

Seems to be a bit of a weird map. The skybox in this case doesnt have any actual physical surface to it, even a default one. Very unusual. So some automatic map dimension checks that many things depend on are failing.

Thanks @Sammy I did realize the difference between the EMP’s per mod. I selfishly like the bigger radius because that’s how I gain my most points. I also really appreciate all the work you’ve done on the new mod! As a matter of fact I appreciate all the work all the mod and admin work everyone does for our enjoyment! Used to take it backpacking in the Adirondacks in the early 70's. It was good but very messy and was afraid it would attract bears. When fully cooked packaged bacon came out we went to that which was a lot lighter. We also used DAK canned ham that doesn't need to be refrigerated. Haven't seen the canned bacon recently but I haven't looked.

Player based rotation is now set to try out. Medium sized maps will play with up to 10 players and then will switch to large maps from 11 players and up. This is can be changed if we want to have more or less players. Additionally, if there are particular maps that people like, they can be added to both rotation sizes however, it would be possible for you to get that map twice depending on when you joined and the number of players at that time. Any comments about this change, please post here, comments about map selection, please post those in the map rotation post. TY. Note to our Admin team, maps can still be manually selected regardless of the number of players. After which, the rotation will revert back to the normal rotation set based on players.
