@SGTSmeg Yes ! We are on the very same page my friend...If you listen to pt2 you hear the Deputy say he is not sure about that (open carry) and that is all that really is meant to be done (education)...As far as I know he is not out for money but sure as hell could be shot dead... Here in Florida it is more common today mainly everything south of me...Where everyone is running around carrying pellet guns (rifles)...Many cost way more then a real AR and they are killing Iguanas by the truck loads...My point is they can be opened carry and in many cases look like real long guns...Thousands of people will experience the same treatment and you can follow the news you will here someone has been shot by mistake by a LEO sooner or later...There is and always have been more good guys/girls with guns then bad and the good guys/girls would die protecting Our Leo's just as you and I... I also follow other auditors on the 1st and 4th and you would be amazed at how many LEO's do not even understand the very laws they took as oath to support and again I am not anti-cop...I support even the ones that make mistakes based solely on their job...Do I want them to do better ? Yes and I want them safe1 point
-
There is nothing evil about a firearm. Evil lies in the people handling them. And our LEOs deserve the right to protect themselves and have the obligation to protect the citizens they serve. Is detainment an inconvenience for a few minutes? Absolutely. But there is absolutely no reason that someone should knowingly instigate a situation that may result in a confrontation. There is a fine line between protecting the citizens they serve and upholding the constitution. January 2020 in Richmond Virginia we had one of the largest 2nd amendment rallies at the state capital. Our wonderful Governor declared a state of emergency and banned any weapons on the grounds of the capital building. So they erected a tall fence to keep the 'crazy gun slingers' off the property. Weeks in advance there was reports by the media of Antifa and White Sumpremacist groups being bussed in by the thousands to disrupt the rally and to wreak havoc. It never happened. And...the 2A protestors cleaned up the downtown... So I get what you're saying. I just believe there are other ways to get our point across.1 point

@SGTSmeg Florida is very close to open being a open carry State and if your in Virginia do the police stop everyone at gun point who has a gun...If not.. That may become the case here and if it happens here it will happen every where...Mostly what this guy finds is that the police/sheriffs do not even know the law and that is the point he is making...It is about education for everyone...I fully support LEO's and I sure as hell know there are many who do not know the law and make shit up as they go personally...In this video you hear his attorney say I am calling Bob @33:54 pt2...Bob Gualtieri is the Sheriff here where I live and as you see he gets his stuff back only after being detained, handcuffed and placed in a squad car for committing no crime...Yes guns can become evil but they can also stop evil...Personally I like to conceal carry and would not want to open carry...I support the 2A for "everyone" and I am a lawful person...Watch these as you wish but starting with #2 shows you the encounter...If people want to protect the Constitution they must preserve it all because we know when one right falls the rest will follow #2 1st #1 2nd1 point

The thing here he is carrying (legally) by every sense of the word...Common sense part is just that sense...Where as someone else's feelings do not void your rights...The very law that allows him to open carry is the same law that allows the police to open carry...I as well would have handled it differently as I respect law enforcement until they do not respect me and I am sure this was the case here...I have followed this guy for a very long time and others who do constitutional audits...The law states here "you can open carry (not conceal) while going hunting, camping and fishing - to and from...You have to remember we have alligators, wild bore, snakes, black panthers, bears and pirates at sea plus a whole lots of other things1 point -
i to carry openly and have yet to have a police officer try me like this but i would be pissed if this happened to me. and yes i would have handled it in another way also.1 point

No, but then again I was born with common sense. And also if I were dumb enough to do this, I would have handled myself completely different. I believe in the 2nd amendment. I carry (legally) frequently. But you'll never know......unless you decide to pick on me1 point -

code Yellow Ribbon in Canada is Operation Yellow Ribbon was commenced by Canada to handle the diversion of civilian airline flights in response to the September 11 attacks in 2001 on the United States. Canada's goal was to ensure that potentially destructive air traffic be removed from United States airspace as quickly as possible, and away from potential U.S. targets, and instead place these aircraft on the ground in Canada, at military and civilian airports primarily in the Canadian provinces of Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and British Columbia. Yukon, New Brunswick, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Northwest Territories, and Quebec also took in aircraft so that any malicious or destructive potential threats could be better contained and neutralized. None of the aircraft proved to be a threat, and Canada hosted thousands of passengers who were stranded until U.S. airspace was reopened. Sharing and caring the Canadian way may the lost not be forgot for i miss my friend1 point -

I spent all day yesterday in ceremonies. I was not a firefighter during 9-11 But many of my brothers (and sisters) at my fire company were at the Pentagon on 9-11-2001. All day I listened to their stories. All from a different perspective. My Assistant Chief talked about how our team was staged in the courtyard of the Pentagon. Then being called upon to pull lines into the "C" and "D" ring of the Pentagon. Smoke so thick that you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. The heat so intense that they could only get close enough to keep the fire at bay and keep it from advancing any further. He talked about the fingermarks in the suet running down the walls of the halls, where people would drag their hands along the walls (because they couldn't see) trying to escape the terror. He talked about the team being deployed to the roof of the Pentagon and an evacuation was announced because of another potential aircraft headed that way....and their refusal to leave the roof. Fortunately it ended up being nothing. My Deputy Chief talked about how my north fire station was the rally point for all resources in my county that were made available by other fire companies, with over 200 volunteers ready to be dispatched all over the area to backfill stations, or ultimately to the Pentagon. In all, my fire company had more than 40 volunteer firefighters in rotating 12 hour shifts at the Pentagon for more than a week. We had 30 administrative staff staged at our north fire station coordinating logistics, supplies, food and whatever else needed to be done. Here is a video from a fellow life member of my company that now heads up FEMA at Mount Weather, who was at the Pentagon and went to the 'pile' in NYC. If you don't know what Mount Weather is, take some time to do some research. On 9-11-2001 I was just a simple guy coaching a kids soccer team with my good friend George Gabriel. Turns out Gorge's brother Richard Gabriel, a purple heart recipient of the Vietnam War, was on the plane that hit the Pentagon. I am a life member now. And every year I hear new stories about that day. Stories that literally make my skin crawl. I am in awe of the human spirit. To be able to put all the fear and anxiety aside....and do what has to be done. To do what is right not knowing what the outcome may be. And I am so sad to see where our country is today.....1 point -
