played 7 maps 
 

1st one a small ci and frame skipping, but when the new map loaded it was all good from that point, no crashes so far.

had loads of fun, this mod is still the best and so much more stabl, thanks for anyone puting afford in this to get it up and running, your work is not going unnoticed! ❤️

Also id like to say I think the preds and heli need looked at. They are way too strong and killing in buildings.

Heli is untouched. 
 

The explosive damage registers on more area so that might be what you are noticing. Not necessarily anything about the pred itself.

hmmm well I trust that you know what you are talking about and making a good server. I honestly just thought it was unusually strong.

The autobalance failed like a few minutes ago on crossfire2. But it did that on old server at times as well. Other than that, still looks great to me 🙂

I'll look at it, if certain settings on explosions have had any impact with the changes.

this logic hasn't been changed from the old mod. It's just how it is. I'll look at these issues going forward. The stability issue caught us by surprise so it took all my energy to get the server to this point.

Preds can appear to go thru buildings on custom maps at times.

There was something which might have been conflicting with the server setting. I have fixed it.

Also jumping is being weird and off, while jumping hitmarkers seems to register less good and there's a fraction of a second delay in being able to shoot when fast jumping.

Hmm... we may have to re-tune the running speed. Thanks for noting your observations. I will make a list of things that need an investigation.

I mean what's the reason of not keeping the server? Clearly is doing better than the less popular servers

I don't follow, which server do you mean? Rugger sent out a message, we are migrating to COD4x now that it is battle tested against human players as well.

No idea, why or how to address this but I know one way that works.

- Click Favorites in the game browser

- Click New Favorite and then put in the IP address 74.91.116.93:28960

- Click Ok then Refresh List

This applies to those who reported, lag spikes, hit reg, and frame skipping issues. This is related to the network connection settings on the server and your client. When we relaunched the server I set the server to allow connections up to 100Kbps, which with today's internet speeds is like sending a spit worth's of water down a 10inch pipe. This makes the game ultra smooth for people with fast computers, powerful routers and ideal ping. Not so much for people who have higher latency, WiFi connections or other limiting factors. It seems like the ideal setting to accommodate such a wide range of players is 25Kbps. There's more technical detail but I don't think most people care enough to know. 

Shady, you started experiencing this frame skipping after I changed the setting to the lower value while there were few people on the server. It gave me the confirmation I needed, sorry about that though. 

Please do the following in your game.

- Press ~ then type /rate 25000
- Hit Enter
- Press ~ to close the console

I will apply the appropriate settings on the server and this SHOULD address the occasional lag spikes, CI's or frame skipping.

I forgot to mention, once you set your rate /reconnect so the server can reset the new connection rate for you. 

If you still experience connection related issues try lower your rate to /rate 15000. Basically play with this number until you find your sweet spot.  There's no one size fits all unfortunately.

People often want to know which is the next map, I have added public commands available to all players.

# To see the next map, type the following in regular chat
- Press T and then type $nextmap
# To see the entire rotation list, the following in regular chat
- Presss T and then type $rotation

It will feel odd but command are prefixed with $ not ! on this server.
