This mean that when you are the 23 player to connect on either of the servers you will be redirected to the other server. Also, I agree with Nut, we need a few more balanced maps and not just sniper maps on the Chi-town server. There are also a couple of problems with a couple of the maps. Farthouse - there is a glitch where you can get frozen, still fly the ships around and kill people. People are still exploiting it. In this case it generally means someone is downloading a custom map before he is redirected. Open Warfare uses this method and AFAIK there is no way around this since the game downloads missing files before it runs the scripts in a mod. But looking into it and maybe someone found a way. I get in, and as soon as I click the back button, to pick auto assign, I get redirected. This afternoon it seems no one wants to stay in the New York server, I stayed and played a couple rounds with one other person as several came in and immediately left. I added in the >XI< tag priority, not exactly sure how it will work but I have 5 slots reserved for members wearing >XI< tags. So maybe the tag thing works now. Thanks Rugger. I don't really understand why no one wants to play the new york server. I know my ping is about twice what it is on the chicago server, but it's still decent. Chicago = 45 ping avg New York = 85 to 90 ping avg Maybe others tell why they dont want to play new york, and give Rugger a break so he doesn't have to try and read our minds. Dunno why, maybe cause the first guy of the day always goes on the chicago server, it's just chance. Seems like, statistically, there are way more ping, lag and CI issues from that server, regardless where you are playing from. I live in northern Alabama, and my ping on CHicago server is usually 70 to 90. On the New york server it usually is 120 to 140. The ping spikes are pretty insane there as well and happen quite often with a full server. Maybe we could move it to chicago as well and keep the overflow system going. Not to mention, as stupid as it sounds, keep the same maps on both servers. I think that might be an issue as well, or maybe not, ahdunno nuthin.
