So last night I went down to the brewery to listen to a band called the Montana Mudflaps (they're pretty good, been playing together 30 years) anyway guess who shows up ...

Huey Lewis - he got right up there and sang a few songs, played the harmonica, it was fun... guess he lives around here.

Jeanette sings mostly in English on her solo albums.  The English as a second language thing results in some interesting lyrics, but it's all good.  Awesome, in fact.

 

Guys love Jeanette for obvious reasons.  Pretty.  Sexy.  Proactive performances.  But this one is an enigma for guys since the song is about loosing her.  On the other hand, and looking from the glass-half-full point of view, the song means she's available.  Girls love the power Jeanette commands.  She's a strong, talented woman who is completely comfortable in her own skin. 

 

I play several songs by Jeanette on Girls Rock Radio, but unfortunately, it's impossible to get her music here in the States.  Even if you can, the price if the import is astronomical.  I was lucky and got her "Naked Truth" CD as a gift from someone in Germany.

 

Enjoy...  This kind of song is just what I live for.  :)
