I would prefer wireless as thats the part that I am the hardest on is those poor lil wires. I am on a budget so please keep that in mind but do suggest any and all and I will look at them all and decide. I am presently using Logitech USB Comfort Chat and am fairly happy but they keep getting ruined by me! Lol!

Go buy a set of creative zen earbuds, ep 830's and a microphone. No batteries to go dead in the middle of a frag fest. You can hear a mouse fart at 100 yards with them, or you sneaking up behind me. I know, not what you asked for, but on a budget, cheap and great sound.

If you want the best at a descent price, then any of the Sennheiser Gaming Headsets will suffice. But alas they are wired. But wired to me, is the only way to go. Sennheiser makes some of the best audiophile headphones available. Plus they will fit that big head of yours !!!

would there be a delay at all when you use wireless headset ??? just like a wireless mouse ? response time is everything . I as well have issues with wired headsets the fine little wires always break and i go cross eyed trying to fix them :X .

With any wireless connection there is a latency (delay) issue, no way around it. With minimal sound delay wouldnt or shouldnt effect game play. Now with control devices, mice, joystick, etc.. then the small delay would be noticable. Thats why the best gaming keyboards, mice, etc.. are wired. I personally wouldnt go wireless headphones.
