Somehow I figured something like this would happen first in America, not Canada.

Ya, read that today.

Pretty sad world this is becoming when you can't go play tag a recess with your friends.  These people making decisions need to give their head a shake.  This is just a whole new level of 'holy fuck, what next'.  Lets shelter them some more...

Yeah, better teach the kids young that this isn't a friendly world, and don't reach out to anyone...Heaven forbid. Egads, what are these school officials REALLY thinking?

I wouldnt call that political correctness so much as an overreaction because some parents that have a problem with it for whatever reason. Schools dont want to deal with them so they make a policy change even the all the other parents wont like it. Could also be a liability issue in our sue-happy world. In a game of tag some kid gets knocked down, hurts his arm, and the parents sue.

I do wonder if this policy covers dodge ball and getting beaned in the head with a kick ball. After all.. no touching was involved.

I don't know but would think that is just one classroom that has gotten out of hand.  The whole class is probably just a bunch of out of control kids.

" Kids need to learn that all human contact should be met with swift punishment." Are you kidding me?! What exactly will they achieve from this apart from a withdrawn, depressed generation with no social skills? It's disgusting, some people need their heads read.

People with common sense should fight back wherever this PC nonsense rears its ugly head. Let's hope parents at that school overwhelm the next meeting of the board of ed., demanding the immediate dismissal of the principal/superintendent who made this ridiculous ruling.
