Thank you for posting that. There is a hint on the loadout page as well. Best not to use the '6' key so as not to conflict with servers that use standard streaks.

ACOG looks awesome on all guns BUT it jumps all over the darn place when firing.Noticed that the Silencer reduces recoil a bit.For the Acog to be usable it must have reduced recoil as well.

 

It seems to be jumping all over the place Alot more than it does with Iron Sights or the Red dot.

 

 

Red dot on the SC-2010 is off.Center of the dot needs to be lowered a bit.Dead center is at the bottom edge of the circle.

Acog settings are the same as stock. It is supposed to go all over the place. It is the price you pay for increased zoom.

Silencer and keen vision for the win. The saritch is a very accurate weapon. If you don't aim well you will miss. In hip fire it doesn't spray like the carbine. You have to keep the center of your screen on the enemy.

Update: had to rewrite a bit of the hud code to allow the rankups to use the flybys. Obits in the center should be off. I am doing this while a bit tired so hopefully I didnt fuck anything up. Off to bed.

Couple hotfixes. Hud message system needed a bit of work to make sure the right things used the right methods. Streak activation changed a little bit to deal with a button-mashing problem where streaks would be unavailable until weapon switching between the primary and secondary or explosives. Timing looks ok but didnt have a chance to test everything yet.

Yes you had to push your buttons several times just for it to work. Our rc cars, care packages ect.

Do you know what weapons you were holding at the time when trying to activate? Sounds like a timing issue. Made a small timing tweak for how long it waits for assault rifle weapon changes and restarted the server.

 

Its another one of those 'workarounds' where I have to manually do procedures that wait for animations and weapon switches. Normally the game handles that but it doesnt work with all the custom buttons. The 'follow me' type of menus also have manual waits and such to prevent button mashing.

Played a couple rounds and I saw players get several cars, a cp, an airstrike, predator and a sentrygun. So the ipad, cellphone, and marker. Dunno what the primaries were but seems to work ok.  However plz keep an eye out for it cancelling again and what the specific weapon you were holding was that it keeps going back to. Thx.

Guys how about record urselves when u encounter these issues. Use the in game demo recorder /record bugsIfound and then find bugsIfound.dm_1 in ur game folder.

That would always help.

 

A note about smaw. Lockon time, if the target is within the cone from the player eye, is two seconds. It also accounts for the percentage of the entity you can actually see. Which is %90. To lock onto a player the high percentage is there because it should be significantly harder to shoot at a player than a helicopter because of the smaller size. Even so, due to the accuracy of the missile, shooting it without lockon is pretty deadly. Since adding this one I have come to hate RPGs at anything other than close distances or wide open areas.

The only problem I have with the server is it seems that with some of the guns it doesn't seem to hit the people I'm trying to shoot, I know it's not my aim, I've had the problem with multiple guns but others I find work great, but it's still not the weapon I'd like to use.  For example, I heard someone running  around a corner he comes around and does not see me, I had an Ak-47 and started shooting, emptied my whole clip on him and not one single hit he turns around and kills me with a saritch 308.  I love the mod a lot more than the other mw2 mod but some weapons need work.  Other than that I love it and a great job to you Sammy

There is something funky going on with the Hit boxes when you bunny hop.I put 2 clips into someone at around 20 yards and didn't hit a darn thing.He then turned and 1 shot my stationary ass with a pistol ffs.

 

Fast forward to the next map I was camping the basement steps in Office and 2 people rushed me,1 from 1st floor 1 from basement.All 3 of us were bunny hopping around on the steps trying to shoot one another for a good 15-20 seconds and no one got any hits till one of us stood still.

 

I know I unloaded 2 clips from the Saritch308 2 failed knife attempts and 1 clip from my pistol.I managed to get 1 of them with the pistol as he stopped at the bottom step landing then I got knifed.

 

 

Close range combat while bunny hopping is strange.and I have no friggin idea why 1 of us 3 people didn't get a kill or even a single hit marker in such a tight space.All 3 of us were spraying both hip fire and aiming.It's like the Hit boxes shrank to super tiny size.

I couldnt do a damn thing with the hit boxes even if I wanted to. You can thank hackers before the patches that hard coded them into the engine. So I cannot make a 1/2 size player with a 1/2 size hitbox. :lol:

 

The saritch dot is correct but the attachment model itself is off. It will hit what the dot is on. The dot is bigger than the usual solid cod4 one and I am considering switching back to the original. As for bunny hoppers, well, I hate bunny hoppers. But I didnt do anything to screw with it.

I will have to see what works. Unfortunately the server it is on currently is Linux based and it is much more finicky about what maps it will allow compared to windows. Cant really tell by testing on a windows server at home what will and what wont. But... if people think the mod is ok then I can set it up on the main server in the next couple days.

I would love to see it on the main server. Just my personal opinion. I am loving the new mod, and it seems like alot of people are playing on it.

would love to see it HC like mw2 is now ....takes way to o many hits to get kills with way too many of the guns on their...mabye finally get rid of that stupid body armor as well so annoying....i hit someone with 2 tube shots and half clip of reg ammo from reg gun and even one nade all helmet icon no hit marker or deaths ....kinda really bs

 

also the hard points for getn kill only like 10 points u get that with an assist on any other versions....hopefully its set low as its just for testing....otherwise it goin talke forever to level up

@@Sammy,

 

You may need to apply the Body Armor fix with explosives. I shot 2 rockets on someone in a room and i got helmet twice. I was using the guided rocket.

 

For others, who report you cannot hip fire very well with Saritch 308. It's a very accurate weapon, it doesn't spread the bullets too much even from hip fire. You have to aim keep the target centered.

If that helmet wasn't so overpowered I find nothing else wrong with the mod! Well, it does take a while to change into like an RC or Predator but ya thats about it. It's really fun to play there though, well done sammy!
