There are problems with questions 19-21 as we all know that, due to being tainted by Europe, the UK does use metric measurements alongside Imperial other than on roads. Also "gallons" in the States aren't real ones - they're about 25% smaller than proper gallons. I actually don't have a problem with question 10 - sounds good to me especially if a case (24) would be available on the NHS for the standard prescription charge of £8.05! hxtr 1 Awards

Because we look at numbers not pictures. Why is a dime smaller? Just to piss of furriners. Why don't we add the tax to our prices? Because we'd cry @ finding out how screwed we are. Why don't the Australians tip their waitresses? We have the option to punish bad service. Selling beer @ a drug store? What's wrong with that? Metric system over inches? I actually don't have a problem with question 10 - sounds good to me especially if a case (24) would be available on the NHS for the standard prescription charge of £8.05! You are too related to an Australian. Where do you think they came from? Just think.... some way down down the line.. you and I are related. To answer the best I can..... 1. Why does all your money look exactly the same? Because it is money. 2. Why is your 10-cent coin smaller than your 5-cent coin? I have asked my self the same question from a very young age. Still don't know. Nickle cost less than a dime's metal. 3. And WTF is going on with your 1-cent coins? We have a problem with change. 4. Why don’t you just add your sales tax to the price tag? Marketing.... price looks lower. 5. And why don’t you pay your staff a decent wage so tipping isn’t necessary? Because my daughter can make $200 in tips in one night. But it sucks ass because she cant always come close to $200 a night. 6. Why is your cheese orange? When you add some red to something yellow.. it turns orange and it is processed. Not everything can be white you know? 7. Or in a can, for that matter? Product of the 80's. Lots of stupid shit was cool back then... and it was a convenience kind of thing. Not a popular item for most people these days. 8. And on LITERALLY EVERYTHING? What the fuck is wrong with this......?!?!?! that is heaven. 9. And why are your soft drink sizes so huge? Hey that is Whataburger her in Texas. Because we get thirsty her in Texas. That has Ice Tea in it. 10. Why do your pharmacies sell beer? Because they are more than just a pharmacy. They sell milk as well. 11. Why are you so obsessed with ranch dressing? Because the choices are usually, Ranch, Blue Cheese, Thousand Island, Italian and French. You tell me why. 12. And why is your gravy white? It is called country gravy here in the south. And it is not all white.. it have black flacks of black pepper in it and is made with bleached flour. 13. Why do you call scones “biscuits”? Why do you call biscuits "scones"? What the fuck is a scones? And why do the British call French Fries Chips. Chips come in a bag... we invented them. 14. #RealTalk: What the actual fuck is with your gun laws? Come try and take them away and find out. You live on an island. You have an ocean as a boarder. I have a river you can walk swim across. 15. And if you call university “school”, then what do you call school? What kind of school. A university is a college school. You have high school, middle school and elementary school and much more. All for schooling people to learn something. When you come home from the University.. does your mum ask... How is university son? How are your grades? Or is it... How is school son? How are your grades? 16. Why do you butcher the English language by adding Z to everything? Because we can. We also invent words that he UK refuse to say correctly. One is... a router. They keep calling it a rooter. Can someone please reset the rooter please. My Internet is down. 17. Why do you think we all drink Foster’s? Because your piss at lease has some flavor. 18. What is with using Fahrenheit? In my mind 30 degrees is below freezing. Zero sound way colder. 19. And inches? I don't get it at all. I am all for Metric System... but you know how much it would cost to change? 20. And feet? And miles? yea I agree on that too.... it is called being proprietary 21. And gallons? Maybe it is because the French invented the Metric System. The Brits have not adopted French Fries yet so we have come a long way here in the United States. Or more conservative? My use of "liberal" in my post was a catch-all term for the easier access available generally in the US compared to Australia. I think Australia is too strict. I have numerous examples but here is one from when I was a state Police Officer: When I was stationed in the metro area I took a marked departmental vehicle home from time. But I couldn't take my firearm(s) home with me. I could either leave them at my station or at the nearest station to home. It made things interesting when deciding to take a call on my way home unarmed or at the start of shift the next day. hxtr 1 Awards

Why is your cheese orange? When you add some red to something yellow.. it turns orange and it is processed. Not everything can be white you know? Applying the same logic, not everything has to be orange or processed. In the UK, for example, we have several orange cheeses such as Red Leicester but Cheddar is a yellow colour and Cornish Yarg is green. 13. Why do you call scones “biscuits”? Why do you call biscuits "scones"? What the fuck is a scones? The Aussies correctly observe that your "biscuits" have not been baked twice, as in bis coctus. http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/biscuit Scones are sweet cakes, served as an English teatime treat with clotted cream and strawberry jam. http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/scones_1285 And why do the British call French Fries Chips. Chips come in a bag... we invented them. Our chips have nothing to do with the French and are larger and superior. Your "chips" are known as potato crisps in these parts. I can't answer for the Aussies but, apart from the schools of dentistry and medical schools on some university campuses, the term is not associated with higher education in the way you may expect in the UK. The essays I wrote were never "graded" but awarded a mark, expressed as a percentage. 16. Why do you butcher the English language by adding Z to everything? Because we can. We also invent words that he UK refuse to say correctly. One is... a router. They keep calling it a rooter. Can someone please reset the rooter please. My Internet is down. Rout and route mean greatly different things. Here's an example of the former in a sentence: "On August 16, 1780, British forces under Lieutenant General Charles, Lord Cornwallis routed the American forces of Major General Horatio Gates about 10 km (five miles) north of Camden, South Carolina..." How do you pronounce "en route" then? You surely don't say "on rout"? http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/en%20route 21. And gallons? Maybe it is because the French invented the Metric System. The Brits have not adopted French Fries yet so we have come a long way here in the United States. You can readily find the "fries" of which you write in UK fast food establishments. If you dine in restaurants, you are more likely to be offered proper chips or sautéed potatoes. Chips are versatile and can be served in so many ways - tremendous in a sandwich known as a "chip butty", or with lashings of curry sauce or gravy according to ones taste. Awards
