Ok

so i bought this Logitech g500 like 1 year ago, and the first thing i hate about it was the scroll wheel

it wiggles and i hated it.

now since yesterday the block mecanism for that wheel just broke.

really annoying and today the mouse give me doubble clicks.

now i want to go with another brand and hopefuly it will be better.

so im looking at 2 mouses :

- Zowie FK2

- Corsair M65

anyone use one of these ?

i bought a corsair keyboard a few months ago, and this thing is build like a tank, i just love it, best keyboard i ever had, so im really tempted by that corsair mouse, i dunno

on the other hand i see lot of pro players going for the zowie, mostly for CS, but yea.

problem is i can't try these coz no shops have those in stock, so i can't even check if one isnt comfy enough for me or not.

i saw that Asus have now mouses where u can change the switches to new or other ones, thats a good thing, im sure we'll see more of these sort of mouses in the future.

Now i just want a simple mouse that is comfy and that wont break in the next few months.

well thats good for you, but switches in a mouse arent made for during years, the better ones are like 20 millions clicks max. if u do the math, yours has prolly passed a few times this limit.

yea this would also be an option, i had a few razer mouses in the past, was kinda happy with them, but not 100 convienced

but yea the deathadder is THE classic mouse.

thanks for remind me that, i will try to check shops here to see if they are comfy to me.

note that i start to have some kind of finger arthritis so im really touchy with the comfort, its getting better with exercises im doing but better have a real comfy mouse.

I have a Steel Series Rival I just bought, I like it because its light. I also have a G700 from Logitech which is also a great mouse but I find it a bit heavy some times at 148gms. The Rival is 128gm and believe it or not makes a big difference in how comfortable it can be.

P.S By the way plural of Mouse is Mice even for computer mice :D.

lol yea mice, and not mices or mouses ok got it lol

yea i find the logitec to be too heavy too.

what annoys me is that ok the more comfy mice i ever got were the steelseries ikary, i had 2 of them optical and lazer, but they died too fast, maybe i can check if i can replace the switches of those, that would be cool, but i doubt.

anyway i will test some tomorrow at the shop and see what they got, but i doubt i will find anything.

Changing mouses SUCK! It took me about a 100 years to get my new mouse dialed in to what I was use to...Don't fall for the 70,000,000 DPI hype...you will overshoot everything...and if your running 3 monitors...forget about it, if you have to replace a mouse get one as close to the one you had....

i tested it a few hours working on my adobe suite and i also played cod4 10 minutes with this new mouse for testing it,

no complains, works just fine, sharper than the logitech and more comfy.

and i think its even cheaper

i wont need 100 hours to get used to it as i had a few of the same brand before, and the shape isnt that different.

im happy with it, and i think i made the best choice, for now, but yea we'll see in a few months

On small run and gun maps, especially for tubing I use my Trackball M570. The thumb movement is far more natural, the only draw back that its not great for long range sniping. I have to constantly clean the dirt build-up to make it run smooth for long range sniping.

yea but i'll stick to optical sensors.

im too used to those

i wish that u could choose what sensor u buy with every mouse. so if u find one that the shape is perfect for u u can decide if u want the lazer or optical sensor, that would be sweet

one brand should come with a mouse system where u can easily replace the switches, the scroll wheel and the sensor.

a modular mouse that u could easily optimize to your liking, that would be fantastic
