The woman who lives in the apartment next door started screaming "fire! fire!!!" when she saw smoke and flaming and called the building manager who lives right on top. The guy came, knocked on my door and advised me very politely that my bbq was "on fire"(?) and that he would get it banned because it was a fire hazard. Yesterday morning i received an official warning letter from the strata council. They told me not to use my bbq ever again because it was a fire hazard and that smoke coming out of it was invading other people's space by entering their apartments through their windows. They also say that if I ever use my bbq again i would be evicted lol. I am moving out this place anyway in a few days but if i were to stay i would certainly take these assholes to court.
