Depends how far you want to go back, i had an Atari Console with stuff like Space Invaders back in the 80's followed by an Intellivision console, the Intellivision was a really good machine with good games too, then i progressed to ZX Spectrum  where your games were on Magnetic Tape and had to play them in a Tape recorder, took ages for each game to load, then on to an Amiga before i finally got my first PC.

Mine was BLOOD on a 386,but like SOB I had the old simple pong type of game then went to Intellivision like SOB and like he said a lot of good games even though it was a 4k machine. From there I went to Commodore 64 and even had a modem and now here we are in the 2000's with huge CPU's and GPU's and a fast internet for most of us.

Blood is a first-person shooter video game developed by Monolith Productions and published by GT Interactive Software. The shareware version was released for the PC on March 5, 1997, while the full version was released on May 31, 1997 in North America, and June 20, 1997 in Europe.

The game follows the story of Caleb, an undead early 20th century gunslinger seeking revenge against the dark god Tchernobog. It features a number of occult and horror themes. Blood includes liberal amounts of graphic violence, a large arsenal of weapons ranging from the standard to the bizarre, and numerous enemies and bosses.

The Blood franchise was continued with two official expansion packs titled Plasma Pak (developed by Monolith)[1] and Cryptic Passage (developed by Sunstorm Interactive). Later, a sequel titled Blood II: The Chosen was released on October 31, 1998. The game was released on Steam along with its two expansion packs on July 14, 2014, utilizing the DOSBox emulator to run on modern systems.[2]

1st video game, mine was Pong from Atari, the game came with the console which connected to the TV via an RF modulator, displayed black and white and had a few sounds and all it could do is play variations of pong, this one had up to 4 player simultaneous!

1st Cart was likely Asteroids or Adventure for the Atari VCS (aka 2600)

1st Computer game for me was likely Parsec for the TI-99/4A
