We are diurnal animals...not nocturnal like an Owl. Just like when the full moon is out we get extra energy from the reflection of the Sun. How do you sleep when you are being radiated to be awake I guess. So.. do you end up being up for like 2 days.. then sleep what you need then stay up again just because.. it is 2am... the Sun is up kind of thing?

Even a little further south, our daylight hours are now 16½ hours long and, through the summer months, it isn't really that dark. These photos were all taken by my dad, he's not a professional photographer but he has a decent camera (which is necessary to take a photo of the northern lights). This is a photo taken around 8pm and it shows the view over my home town. Its so beautiful! A picture of me and my brother when we were out on a hiking trip (Im to the right). We're fishing at around 1am and it was one of the most beautiful sunsets I've encountered. Its from a lake not too far away from where the first picture in this post is taken (took about 2 hours to get there). And yes, we were sleeping over in a tent. And as promised, the northern lights.
