Those maps are mostly fine (the farm beta map has a glitch where you can fall through the map and should be removed permanently from all rotations IMHO), but we need to ensure that the map styles are mixed up, so we don't end up with 3 maps in a row that have ties, go 9 rounds, always go to sudden death each round, etc. YACCster 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... I played that stretch yesterday with the three sniper maps in a row, and the server went from 27 players to 9 players when we hit the map after mp_farm_beta. I saw that happen on two occasions in the past few days. I'm fine with large sniper maps, and most players like having them in the mix, but not two or three of them in a row when they almost always take the max amount of time to complete. The rotation was great for introducing maps we haven't seen in a long, long time though (as well as a handful of new-to-me maps). If A particular map needs to be checked out, such as farmland beta, let everyone know about it. However to wholesale say everything in the rotation sucks with no other comment, that doesnt work. Shame because farm is a pretty good map otherwise. When 1/2 the people like a map and 1/2 of the people dont, when deciding what to do are some people more equal than others?
