Looks like a 60 gal. tank Stringer, exactly what I use to have, one thing make sure the fish you get are compatible. After a few years I went strictly with Cichlids.Seemed to be a sturdier fish.Don't buy a Jack Dempsey or Oscars, they get huge.Good luck and it  looks like you are all set up.No real plants either cause they will rip them up.I was lucky enough to have a pair of Firemouth cichlids breed and it was neat to watch the mother suck them into her mouth to protect them from other fish in my tank,I had to finally separate her into another tank.GOOD LUCK.

Nice Setup. A good friend of mine had Piranha for a couple of years. It got expensive feeding those greedy little bastards though!

Looks nice. I used to have a fresh water and a salt water tank. Was enjoyable for the time I had them but time got a bit hectic so never found the time to properly take care of them. If you can keep the environment somewhat stable, maintenance should be fairly minimal. Just take care of the fish types and ya , no real plants. They are nice and all but found can cause water stability issues and some grow and migrate like wild fire.
Enjoy though. You seem to be on the right track.

Cichlids are the best fish once you get the tank setup good for them...They all have different personalities and are territory pirates and with the correct setup will raise young...They will prefer live feed over dry and are a joy to just sit and watch..

Under gravel filters are the best with less maintenance and they are neither salt or fresh but brackish

True Loader,I forgot to mention under gravel filters and the food ah yes,I actually would feed earth worms to them that I would pick I would pick and sometimes I'd leave a door open and a few flies would get into the house, then the flies would end up trying to leave but ended up on the window screen or where ever there was one and from there I could catch them and feed 'em to the fish.Fish would practically jump out of the tank.I also found out that Angel Fish can get very large and aggressive.Fish like guppies and swords seemed to get that ICK(or white spot) disease.Neons are pretty but my fish thought they were food.LOL One last thing the larger the tank the better and get yourself one of those siphons that can clean your gravel without sucking it all the way up and out of your tank.
