A 1945 Ford GPW. In the first restoration I made it rust free and roadworthy. With that I was on June 6th, 1994 for the 50th D-Day anniversary at Omaha Beach in Normandy. I drove up and down the beach. A short time later the body was totally rusted and I started the second restoration. This time I completely overhauled the engine, gearbox, axles, frame, brakes and body. Oh yes, I also completely restored a Harley WLA from 1942 during this time. Then when I was done I got married and had no more eyes for my hobby and sold Jeep and Harley for a ridiculous price.... GhostfaceJim, MtDeW, bds1961 and 6 others 9 Awards
