I thought it'd be nice to start a thread where we could all reintroduce ourselves to each other. As many of you know, I've played on these servers for over 12 yeers now. Over those years have been periods of absence when many new idiots have appeared. Now that I've started playing more, I'd like to know more about everyone! I'll start. I'm 25 years old, representing the West Coast from Oregon. I started playing on XI's servers when I was about 12. It was mainly on the old 'freezetag server 2 stock map' server. I grew up here. Eventually with the help Wildthing, Caper & BudSr, I joined the clan as the first junior member. Eventually I finished high shool, went to college. I ended with an associates degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management. Moved my way up through retail positions and currently work as the store auditor at a local retailer. I currently live with my boyfriend of over 5 and a half years. That's the quick notes of me! I'd love to hear from all of you! Where you from? How long have you been apart of XI? Favorite Games? Work? Anything you wanna tell us!

I was always under the assumption that I was the first JR member I've been playing way back since the CoD2 days when the clan first formed and my dad was an admin at the time and with the help of a couple of others got me the first JR tags of the clan under NoddyJR - but now I know there was another JR running around at the same time as me! Maybe we were the first JR's that got that JR tag around the same time? Regardless, its nice to see someone that has been here since a JR such as myself. Strange to think that I have been knocking around here since I was 12-13 and now I'm 28 so 15 years of my time has been spent in this madhouse. Well, almost 15 years. I did have some time away when my dad left the clan and as a JR I had to leave with him. Now I've been back for a good few years, and landed myself a place as an admin for CoD2. I'm from wet and miserable England and I work in IT as part of a University's IT support team and my goal is to eitehr make the Senior position or head to another team called Operations who deal with a lot of back end server side things. I love my job and I am proud to say that as I worked really crappy jobs that I absolutely hated for 7 years before getting this one. My favourite games at this time are World of Warcraft, CoD2, 7 Days to Die, Elden Ring, the Dark Souls Trilogy, the Persona series, RuneScape 3 and Old School -- it is a very extensive list that I can go on about.

What does he look like?” I was in the pub when a guy called me a cheapskate. So I threw his drink in his face. A polar bear walks into a pub and orders a pint of beer. The barman says, “£17, please.” The polar bear pays and takes a seat. Bemused, the barman approaches and says, “This is exciting, we don’t get many polar bears in here!” To which the polar bear replies, “I’m not surprised with beer at £17 a pint.” A Texan walks into a pub in Ireland and clears his voice to the crowd of drinkers. He says, “I hear you Irish are a bunch of hard drinkers. I’ll give $500 American dollars to anybody in here who can drink 10 pints of Guinness back-to-back.” The room is quiet and no one takes up the Texan’s offer. One man even leaves. Thirty minutes later the same gentleman who left shows back up and taps the Texan on the shoulder. “Is your bet still good?”, asks the Irishman. The Texan says yes and asks the bartender to line up 10 pints of Guinness. Immediately the Irishman tears into all 10 of the pint glasses drinking them all back-to-back. The other pub patrons cheer as the Texan sits in amazement. The Texan gives the Irishman the $500 and says, “If ya don’t mind me askin’, where did you go for that 30 minutes you were gone?” The Irishman replies, “Oh…I had to go to the pub down the street to see if I could do it first”.

Ya I would wait for at-least a couple of weeks or better yet until Black Friday which is November 25. October 12th is the release date for the new Nvidia 4000 series video cards. AMD ryzen 7000 series CPUs are due to be released here in just a couple of days. Prices on alot of the CPUs and GPUs will be down significantly by Black Friday. Can't believe your kicking our asses with an HP. HAX lol.

I've been a member since my uncle viprz got me playing freezetag back in 2012. Been very loyal to the world at war group. Great group of idiots playing there these days. Also played cod4 freezetag but found some of the servers were too fast for me.. maybe I'm just too slow... Hold your comments back to that one crusher and Elvis... Finally have a newer computer capable of playing some of the newer games.. kinda looking forward to reuniting with a few playing world of warships... I'm from the great handgun free Canada!! AMD is releasing new architecture & cpu's in a week from today. This means their current chips & architecture should drop in price even more, making for an excellent opportunity to buy at a great value. You should be able to get the 12 core 5900x for around $300 in the next week or two; an exceptional deal & more than enough for your requirements.

Microsoft is slowly rolling out the new Windows 11 2022 update to end-users; unfortunately, there are many reports that there is an issue with GeForce graphics cards, in specific some users even see 120 FPS framerates drop to 30 FPS. Users also report screen tearing and Nvidia G-Sync not working. From the looks of things, debug software comes along with the new windows update and gets triggered with graphics cards causing the problems mentioned above. Although Microsoft has yet to issue a statement, it appears that Nvidia is already aware. A poll questions variables, such as screen size, game, or API, on Reddit. Nvidia confirms in its forum that new debugging tools introduced in Windows 11 22H2 are currently triggered and activated. Nvidia proclaims it is developing a fix, but no timeline has been provided. If you own a GeForce graphics card, you probably want to skip and delay that update until this is fixed.

Updated it about a month ago, spent two weeks with getting bluescreens, crashes, pc not even starting untill there was a new (two) driver update. Didnt have problems since, but it was two weeks of pure hell. And yea, got an NVIDIA geforce. Hate those windows updates

WOW now your 25 OMG! I'm aging quickly. Finally hit 65 and receiving my Old Age check, love it! Mrs Weed and I now have 4 and 7 year old granddaughters to keep us busy. Seems the same kind of unit in the complex as mine sold for 18k 'under' their asking price when it was listed two months ago. Their asking price seemed a fair one at least at the time before the rate hikes. Got one of those 'just sold' flyers in the mail. That sucks for the rest of us here. To answer the question, some of the options are a few ideas just west of Orlando. Just seems like an interesting option for myself. Could be a family move near Charleston. But that option is dependent on what commitment others will make, or which area to chose, which I dont think they actually have. Only possibilities. I dont think they know themselves. Could also do further north in Cali away from the high prices of the bay area. Or, if my condo value just drops too much, as much as I would like to eventually leave the bay area perhaps stick it out where I am for the duration. While I dont really enjoy it here, I'm working and its a lot better than not having a job if all the 'recession is coming' people are correct. I'm almost 55 now. Maybe keep things on the current track for 5 years. Try to do more enjoyable things and take my vacations. And then retire, so to speak, to some location when Im 60. One thought realtors seem to have is that selling during a recession isnt necessarily bad if you are trading up to another area for long term residence where housing prices there took a bigger drop than yours did. Though that kinda sounds like an attempt to keep sales and commissions going.

Article today stated that in the Netherlands we have officially doubled the prices of houses in 9 years. It's near right impossible to buy now if you don't already own a house. But, rents have gone the same way, so now we're just throwing tons of money down the drain.
