This was again proven last month when TKO had close to 5000 votes in December but in January I dont think they even made it to 3500, how do you drop 1500 votes in one month???? Other than the members of the various clans who vote, few even know this site exists. And we certainly don't lack for members. The site serves no other purpose than to make money from advertising. The amount of money the site makes is based on the usual structure for Internet ad sales - how many hits the site gets. I'm not inclined to support that. The owners of the site could give a hoot how the clans place or whether any clans cheat at jacking the vote. About all this activity does is serve as a constant source of complaint that other clans cheat, or that XI isn't number one. Don't see any point to sticking ourselves in the eye with a sharp stick. XI made it's point early on as the top PC clan. After awhile the voting gets tedious and, as far as I can see, serves no benefit to XI other than feeding someones ego. I suppose it's good for the Top 100 because the more hits on a web site the more value to the web site. I really do not need to contribute to their hit count. And I am not even considering how bogus the results appear to be. It's one of those things that was fun for awhile but wears out over time.
