is in the ER and is about to get a cat scan. Thought it might be kidney stones but the doctor is more interested in his aneurysm in his leg. If that's the case then surgery for sure but if kidney stones his PePe is going to hurt real bad.

I hope for the latter.

Way to much drama this month. Something needs to give.

I will be heading across town soon to check on him once my mother says it good to come down. Sure he will be fine but well just good to get it off my chest.

Now if I could just remove this damn Gorilla off my chest. hahahaha Shit i always have a way to laugh.

They usually blast kidney stones with ultrasound nowadays that breaks the stones down to a manageable pissing size, but if that ain't available then you have to piss the whole stone out, i hear it is very very painful but it's more painful not getting rid of them, one of my friends collapsed at work once with the pain from his kidneys.

just got home 4am here... father is fine... really doped up from all the pain meds.. he was high as shit. Found he has a bladder and kidney infection. Never knew the kidney infection was so painful. He is staying over night till they finish all the tests but he will be just fine. I told him he was just seeking attention. lol

moral to the story.. DRINK MORE WATER!!!! He just does not drink enough but he will now. I gave him an ear full. :)

Got to keep them puppies working. If your piss is dark rather clear... you are dehydrated. DRINK WATER!!!!!!!!! I does the kidneys good. :)

Thanks for the support.

Well found what my father had... not a good thing. He is quite lucky... this is like a "e coli infection".

Pyelonephritis

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyelonephritis

He will be in the hospital for a few more days. They were confused by all the symptoms... now they understand why. So maybe the water might not have prevented but still GET YOUR WATER and if you work outside.. GET YOUR POTASSIUM. You need it to sweat. Women one banana a day.. men can eat up to 2 for the proper amount of potassium needed.

He had all these symptoms below.... he was in bad shape going into the hospital. :(

Pyelonephritis presents with fever, accelerated heart rate, painful urination, abdominal pain radiating to the back, nausea, and tenderness at the costovertebral angle on the affected side. Pyelonephritis that has progressed to urosepsis may be accompanied by signs of septic shock, including rapid breathing, decreased blood pressure, violent shivering, and occasionally delirium. Pyelonephritis requires antibiotic therapy, and sometimes surgical intervention such as ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephrostomy or percutaneous nephrolithotomy, as well as treatment of any underlying causes to prevent its recurrence. Xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis is a rare form of chronic pyelonephritis in which nephrectomy (removal of the kidney) is usually necessary for definitive treatment.

But again he will be just fine.... :)

Just got to this, buddy - relieved that matters are now normalising. Best wishes to you and Pappy Hxtr.

True what you say about water, though. I always have beer in the fridge upstairs but next to my computer

desk I have packs of water!

One of my major worries in work was when one of my officers went down with a kidney stone at 2am

and we were working in a foreign country! I had to interpret between him and the paramedic before they

took him off to hospital.

I now know that the French word for a "stone" as in kidney stone is NOT "pierre" but "calcul"!

Once that little swine of a stone made its way out, he was much better.

that shit hurts like crazy... like pissing glass from what I understand.

My dad came home yesterday. He is very happy about that. Looks good and is doing just fine. He has to change a few things.... and my mom will be all over his ass to make sure he does it or she will call me. lol I have no problem telling my dad he needs to do something and he listens.. more than I did as a kid. lol hahahaha

I am just lucky to have my parents. Many kids don't even know who their father is. I don't take that for granted and I am glad I am back here in San Antonio to be close to them.
