More buttons than I can use and program. I play mostly Cod2 but have used it in Cod4 a bit. If i played Cod4 more I could probably program more buttons for it but I just used my cod2 setups mostly. It is well worth the money and is the best controller out there. I have used a Belkin and it broke in less than a week. The second one didn't last any longer and I brought that one back too. It is an old model but still works well. I believe the newer models have the key manager software built into the controller rather than separate software like the N52. It is all personal preference. This is the controler to use! I have upgraded with each new model. The one I am using now, the n52te, is about 2 years old and still works great. I have worn the paint off a a couple of buttens, but who is really looking at the buttons while playing.
