It is still clotting up faster than they can clean it out so yet again another surgery at 12. If that doesnt work they are gonna send him to a bigger hospital in Birmingham for a possible bypass. But according to my dads heart doctor, he cant have bypass done anymore due to an earlier problem with my dads heart, they had to remove the sac from his around his heart, and with bypass surgery with him there is a chance he will bleed to death so we are so confused on whats going on and what to do. He has no circulation in either of his legs, they have went in previously and put artificial veins in each leg. One is doing ok, the other not so much. My mom called me 2 nites ago in panic cause they couldnt find a pulse. I got there and there was no pulse(in his leg). Well my dad ,stubborn, wouldnt go to the hospital. He said for us to let him take his medicine and he would be fine, I think he only said this so he could stay home and watch the SEC game...lol..thats my dad. Well Sunday morning he screamed for my mama to get up and he was in alot of pain and his leg was ice cold....it happened again, I went and tried to get a pulse and nothing. So we got him to the ER and at 3:30 this morning they called my mom, they were going back in his leg and see what happened. Later we learned the artificial vein had stopped working so doctor got it up and blood flowing through again. Till an hour later, no pulse. They are currently going back in there right now to see whats going on. I am worried and for once this hard ass mean girl is in tears and fears. Please pray they can fix my daddy. Thanks and really appreciate the prayers. Angel my dear friend! I do know how you feel. I will be lifting your dear old dad up in my own way to the good Lord and plead with him to show his mercy to your dear old dad! Hold in there and God will bless you and your family! Looks like after 4 surgeries they are still gonna have to do a bypass on my dad. Due to prior problems, this is even riskier. I just saw my dad and how do u not break down and cry when the man u love and is so strong and held u all those times, asks u, "baby girl please pray for ur daddy".......then after fighting back the tears and u spend a lil more time with him before u walk out the door, he says" tell these damn nurses to turn the heat off, im roasting back here." lol I just busted out laughing and tears. Hes still so strong so keep the prayers coming. I will keep updating as we learn more. Thank you all so much and AStarRN, thank you in words beyond what I can say.
