I am a connoisseur of weed. love it love the taste of a good hydro. i can put it down when i need to. have stopped many times for years on end. cocaine is ok its a good feeling can live without it. never had a problem doing it one day and putting it down the next. shrooms, acid love em again no biggie if i dont do them for years at a time. never have and never will touch heroine. meth on the other hand is a different story. its the only drug I WANTED TO STOP BUT COULDNT. and wanted to is a loose term. I loved the feeling of it. it was wonderful. for me that monkey was a nightmare to get off my shoulder. I dont even want to look at meth bc i know what a great feeling it is when you are first starting to use it. i was a hard user morning till night for almost a year. had a good job didnt affect it. roommate was slinging it and i got in on that price structure. it was costing me pennies on the dollar for the purest ice you could get your hands on, (i use the term purest loosely, as it is meth) 30 dollars for an 8ball that we would sell for 250 -300. i walked away from that life and cleaned myself up cold turkey, no help. since then I have piced it up a few times and remembered the great feeling and the low feeling of using. I havent touched it in well fuck its been over 7 years now WOW, first time ive realized how long its been. ive known heroine addicts and meth heads. the heroine still takes the number 1 spot in my book for life destructiveness and withdraw agony, but meths not too far behind. i will not do acid again as i now can not look at led clusters, without them jumping around, amazing how bad u can screw your brain looking at a laser pointer while trippin balls. only did acid 5-6 time but it was enough to leave me with long term effects, nothing major just little quirks, such as the led cluster lightl lmao. shrooms on the otherhand i feel are very safe, (again organtic like weed)i have never been walking and had a flashback of pretty colors lmao oh and crack, well i just dont get the appeal. you get like a 5 min high and bam its gone and you want more. i never found it all that desirable. did it a couple of times and was like ehhhhhhh fuck this bull shit. fyi you usually wont see a crack meth head as the meth head gets no joy outta the crack Edited January 3, 2013 by Dark Asylumn hxtr 1 Awards

Sorry to hear that, but definitely glad to hear he was the one who realized what needed to change. The county I live is one of the biggest in North Carolina in terms of methamphetamine production and activity. It's actually kind of scary working here because you never know who you're going to pull over. Meth is a dangerous drug and it creates extremely dangerous situations, not only through the people that use it, but also for the people who are involved in or near cook sites. The ingredients required are volatile, and by themselves create an extremely hazardous environment. Best advice you'll ever get: stay away from it. Alcohol addiction probably destroys more lives than all of the drugs combined, although the changes in appearance aren't as dramatic as meth addicts. My wife was an alcoholic for the first 5 years of our marriage. It almost destroyed our marriage and tore our family apart. I finally had enough and told her she had to chose between drinking and never seeing me or her children again. She chose her family, quit cold turkey by herself and hasn't had a drink in over 17 years. She's the strongest woman I've ever known and I can't imagine life without her, or what she would be doing today had she not given up drinking. Spartacus, Hemps and BigPapaDean 3 Awards
