No Weapon At Respawn

 Hi People of COD4, I have what I think is a problem when I spawn or respawn. I understand that there is spawn protect but I seem to be visable for too long before I have a weapon. I quite often have no means of attack or defence sometimes. Is it Just my imagination or the way I play ? If not, is there anything I can do except run and hide until I'm armed ?

I dont think your weaponless...you are invisible until you SEE your wep. But while running away from spawn your hands are empty....

Well the other day everyone was laughing because I respawned with out my clothes.... 

 

 

J/K seems that it may be a ping/lag that u r having I myself run nd hide then present weapon

and with players closing in on ur spawn it is best to leave the area as fast as can

try switching weapons after you spawn switch to secondary and then back gun should pop up immediately. however once the gun pops up you no longer have spawn protection

The same as on the sniper server? As long as you are spawn protected you are invisible. Trigger the fire and your weapon should appear. But then you will lose your spawn protection and become visible to all.

and with players closing in on ur spawn it is best to leave the area as fast as can

We always play naked in Cod4 Ftag anyway

You are invisible until you see your weapon Funky, try clicking your weapon the second you spawn next time just to see if it works, but as i always play naked, i often spawn with my weapon in my hand.....oooerrr

To see SOB and Loader Naked should be a team advantage cause when you see them you die from laughter, almost like setting off a Mini Nuke. I heard the both of them are truly Mini and I got Noears just ask Google and Bogleg.

once i was getting defrosted and enemy mininuke puts in our spawn and when i respawned there i was invisile but mininuke injured me somehow and after i came visible i had no weapon or anything to fight with.couldn't even knife.idk if this is a problem but i was like a NEUTRAL PRESSA REPORTER AT WAR WITHOUT CAMERA LOL

If you are heavily damaged by a mininuke you drop your weapon. You can immediately pick it up again.

Got this alike 2 times too, you spawn, have spawn armor and once its gone u have no weapons at all when u press fire button.

But since its still in the state of Beta version, things like this isnt uncommon.

Same as sometimes using the killstreak before u can use nades, and when u used the killstreak and return to your character, u dont have any lethal/tactical grenades.

Got this alike 2 times too, you spawn, have spawn armor and once its gone u have no weapons at all when u press fire button.

But since its still in the state of Beta version, things like this isnt uncommon.

Same as sometimes using the killstreak before u can use nades, and when u used the killstreak and return to your character, u dont have any lethal/tactical grenades.

It's not in the Beta version, it's just the name of the server, this mod has been running in this state for well over 6 months now.

Well we ran this mod for around 3 months or longer as a beta version while the old mod was still being used as the main mod, when we decided it wasn't in the test stage anymore we removed the old mod and now have two servers running this mod, it's as finished as it is ever gonna get, no doubt we will probably be testing another new mod shortly.

Actually, I am working on the mod pretty much every day. In addition to the usual fixes currently working on repeatable bonuses at the expense of the usual 1-time-only ones since they dont unlock anything in an unranked server anyways and after awhile they are useless. You get extra points for a 3+ RC multikill or long distance headshots etc. The usual like backstabber and revenge.

 

Its almost ready for open testing in a large multiplayer environment and I will be happy to make it available for an XI test server if people want it. Just let me know.

I know that, I was the last G13 to drop my tags when they quit being a clan.

acctually i've had this problem a few times it's not spawn protection cause i've been killed i can throw nades but can't use bettys or my guns they just not there or showing.
