Speed is how long it takes to send information back and forth, volume is how much you can send. You dont need 50 megs to have good ping, you need a network admin with half a brain (insert Arkansas joke here). I was stuck with a retarded newbie ISP for years, 2 years ago I got a new one. Prices were cut in half, speed was incredible and the volume quadrupled. Good luck and keep calling your internet provider (or maybe find a new one) I say. I signed up for 'pay as you go' data plan with it. I get 2gigs for 30 bucks a month. IF I signed up with them, I could get 4 gigs for 40 bucks a month.. but this way I'm under no contract. I can set the tablet as a wifi hotspot and connect to the internet and do anything I can do from home (with my laptop). If you have cell service, this could be the trick that would get you back in game. Check it out.
