So there is no telling what else she has done. That is cheating as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't take her back knowing this now. I would spend an eternity in hell as long as I knew she would be there also. There is no excuse for a spouse to cheat. If they dont want to be married anymore fine but divorce then whore around all you want. She said my attitude was sour. Well on 4-11-11 I blew out 3 ligaments in my left knee and over the next 2 and a half years I was operated on 5 times. And my knee is still screwed up and I can barely walk and can't find a job. I think having one failed operation after another on my knee and all the medications causing me to be depressed that she might be a little more understanding. They also say in everything is something good, that's hard to see sometimes also. Your life will go on regardless of the pain and the hurt, Better days are always ahead even when you think it could never be. Stand strong, don't give in and let the past years hard times get the best of you. You didn't ask to be injured,nor cheated on. GOOD things will come to you in time and you will be a better person for having lived thru the hard times. Don't just sit around the house and think about the past, go out even if you have to force yourself, meet new people, surround yourself with postive thinking people. Don't turn to drugs or drinking, nothing gets better there. Once the high is past the feelings and problems are still there. Sometimes one has to hit rock bottom before they realize the only way is up, I can say that I've been there and if I can survive it, you can also. You know you can talk to me anytime you can catch me online. I've been a little busy here lately, but if you need me I will always take time to talk with you. I have had a similar thing, tho my injury isn't as serious as yours as it isnt fixed as its muscular on the bum affecting the entire back in varying degrees, I also had time away from the wife for 2 years. tho I kept in touch cos I have kids, we eventually got back together. 10 yrs on, i'm still not sure that was the right course, but thankfully I have the fellow idiots and idiotessess to keep me sane. tho I have a inordinately high lvl of being an idiot/child I try to thro myself into finding fun ways to live mostly NOT including the wife is playfull and as much fun and as a boulder. So I hope you keep looking positive, tho it will be hard for a while. ALL materialistic things and easily and i mean easily replaced. Start by replacing things from garage sales and replace them as you get your feet back on the ground. A junky coffee table is still a coffee table so to speak. You can get better when youre life becomes more stable again. Who cares what others think. Now, about what you think... My friend, DONT FEEL WORTHLESS. Why would you feel worthless because of someone else's poor decisions. Statements like this will only bring yourself down. Stay positive, Stay focused. The more the difficulty, the more the improvement. Being a believer, I believe that God never puts difficulties on us more than we can handle. In times of difficulty, I tell myself that "Everything I am is because of my God. He is the one who has given everything to me (my strengths/capabilities/knowledge) and He is the one who will carry me forward". In the words of great legend Kelly Clarkson "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger", we all know that you are going to come out strong from this. Keep your head down and plow through the challenges, one at a time, day by day. I know its easier said than done but you know that you have worked hard to get somewhere in life and you got there, so you have the skill to do it and there is more in you.
