I wanted to bring up the delicate subject of excessive jumping when playing the game. To some extent it is inevitable and we all do it, but some players seem to do it all the time, and it does seem to annoy the majority ! It makes it a lot harder to hit someone if they are constantly bouncing....and spoils the game in my view. So the question. Someone suggested in game whether it was possible to prevent the gun firing if the player in question was jumping around. Is this possible ? This would solve it in a really straightforward way. It can be frustrating but I don't blame them for doing it. I also hate nade launchers but they are also part of the game. Do we really want a shitload of rules on the servers? I have come across servers over the years with a bunch of restrictions and, for the most part, they aren't populated. I hate them with a passion. But it's a given. Part of the game that's just annoying to some members and funny to others. You can't have one without the other. The server does extremely well for the way it is. So you can adapt to game style or play in ft1 I suppose. Tbh. I like to mixy game style up because I get bored and like to play around and maybe piss people off haha. Either way for me it's a game. I just play to let loose not listen to shit. Or better put, the 'way it was meant to be played'. The default is the slowdown on the second jump unless its specifically changed in an unranked server. Like changing gravity or max player speed.
