Base features I am looking for: - wireless AC - dual band (needs to run simultaneous 2.4 and 5ghz) - gigabit ports - under $200 CAD (after taxes). I am not stuck on any particular brand either. Done a bit of reading reviews but none that actually point to a particular brand or model so appreciate any feedback on past experience or suggestions based on what you've read. Thanks Cheers
 Awards

I realize this might not be what you need. I have yet to run the Ethernet cable for this. because my house is 70 feet and multiple levels so in parts of the house the WiFi is spotty. This model will reach up to 400 feet and can reach out into your property, this model can be mounted outside under an eve. A good connection speed is must if you are going with wireless router because you won't get the same speed as wired too much interference with wireless routers Try this https://factschronicle.com/best-wireless-routers-1198.html
