not sure if motherboard or  video card. im able to write this in safe mode but usb and video and sound driver don't get turned on. I go into normal mode get to connect to game like 30 secs to 2 min then frivers crash for video then they restart about 2 times then totally locks up. I have done fresh reinstall on drivers.so u might se me on u might not im looking for gpu right now to test.as my board is z77 chipset which is almost impossible to find now.

Ive had similar issues in the past and could be anything from your motherboard/ memory/harddrive     I've had dodgy sectors on a hard drive cause similar issues but my first guess would be the same as Stringer Motherboard

-first off look up last faults your system had  previous to problem and investigate them in event viewer-do this first-record faults google them or post them

maybe swap your ram in and around one stick at a time  different slots see if any change-if you have onboard video also remove  your video card and its drivers and see if video card causing the  issue

not sure if your an intel guy or amd but there are upgrade combos out here that aren't terrible in price

 

this is one example...its a micoatx board but the price is decent

It could be as simple as re-seating your video card and ram.

If you live in a dusty or pet environment, a good blow job to your computer (I know lol) may do the trick also.

yes dusted and reseated them. all error in event viewer show video driver crashing so between card or board  leaning to card cus in safe mode runs all day which if was board I would think still get lock ups but who know cause your not stress pci-e slot.and since it work no problem in safe mode kinda take memory and hard drives out of the issue.

Giving your computer a good blow job. I have to remember that one.

There is always the possibility I suppose of a windows update or something else screwing with things that doesnt load in safe mode.

hey do you have onboard video.did you try onboard only like i suggested.if no crashes w onboard only then you know its video drivers or video card.

 

most all crashes are video drivers in all my years having issues

no onboard memory got friend had old video card which works fine so I just order my self a new video card gtx 1070  hope it be nice jump from my old 560 yes all NVidia. I like ati/amd video cards but I hate there drivers.
