COD WAW Error

@Paulibear is getting an error after playing a couple of minutes and it just kicks her out. I havent seen this before. Any ideas? Sorry for the pour quality.y ideas?

Hi Shaun.  Can not see the image, may not have added it correctly to the post.

Anyway, as to the error, I'll take a stab and guess it was an unhandled exception error.  If this is the case, it is common in the FT mod if a player has to download a map for the next round.  It doesn't always happen but when it does, just rejoin the server.  Between rounds, I suggest you don't touch your keyboard, push keys, etc. between rounds.

Just a note, that when re-joining, the player may get a duplicate q port error.  This is also common after an abrupt kick like this as the players name/guid may no have cleared right away from the master server.  This could take a minute or 2.

If you don't want to wait click on "start new server", choose a map and join and then exit- it will clear your name and you will be able to rejoin your original server.

@Merlin007 thank you for your reply.  I appreciate it,  but unfortunately its not the unhandled exception,  im quite familiar with that error.  Ill post the image again bellow.  Iv also learned something regarding the Qport.  Thank you

Can you take that pic without the flash. I'm wondering if there's something missing in the pic. Server admins can also play with this setting. Its ussually in the main config.

She has something running in the back ground on her computer. When it launches if forces the game to exit. I would turn off everything running and see if that solves it. I don't know what OS she has so I can't give any  advice on the best way to find which.  Me and its one of my favorites is what Antivirus you using on that machine.

Thank you  @Merlin007 That makes sense.  Running W10 and im sure there is a lot of other programs running in the background that shouldn't.  Is there a program you could suggest to use the sort out programs running in the background and running at startup.  Long ago i remember using Ccleaner.  Think that'll work?

from the taskbar type system configuration open it when you see it go to startup tab then click open task manager . From there you can right click under the status colum and disable stuff. Still what are you using for a AV ?

Also, as a moderator, if you have kick power and you get that annoying duplicate Q port error...kick yourself out of the server with rcon max, then rejoin.

Thank you, ill go to @Paulibear house later and set it up, im not sure what AV she is using. Just going to disable it completely. She just uses it for COD. Thanks bud
