Finally GOT IT!!!!!!

I finally saved enough money and got it. The new 49" ULTRA-WIDE SAMSUNG ODYSSEY G9 @240HZ. God damn this monitor is soooo nice. Love the graphics. It was a bitch to update it. Lucky there was a thread about it on http://www.overclockers.co.uk

On how to update it. Even down to how to and what you need to install it. Also what kind of USB you needed otherwise it wouldn't of worked.

But very excited and loving this Samsung G9 240HZ HD 4K !!!!

Ah, but is he any good and will this make him better? interesting to see, puts the gear I play on to shame, that's a serious investment. This is a serious question too, with a monitor this size how far away from it do you need to sit to get the whole screen in and to focus, or do you need eyes like a lizard? Point being if you have to sit 5 foot away, and with a smaller screen you only need to sit 3 feet away then it's a waste of money.

Huge amazing curved monitor or a 2x4x8 hmm I will spend a few dollars more and get the 2x4x8   Nice screen I don't see how food it will be for FPS's but I bet driving games and that type of game would be sweet.

If the input lag is noticeably less than his last monitor he might have some improvement. There is also the being able to see more/better factor - particularly at distance. Mine is a 24" and I'm only about 1 foot away lol.
