I wanted to inform

I wanted to talk about the problem that I noticed today, I noticed a strange freezing while playing the game and I wanted to turn on the FPS counter. The figure I saw was 125 FPS, I usually fix it as 333FPS and play the game fluently, I noticed that it started to freeze from time to time and I wanted to report this problem to a friend. was having the same issue, it recovers at 125 FPS per turn and stays that way.

 

Footnote: Since it fixes 125 FPS per round, I have to constantly change 333FPS.

What's ridiculous is that I have a 144HZ monitor and it doesn't allow 144 FPS Even stabilisation.

When I turn on 144FPS stabilization, it fixes itself to 125fps again, or it does the same even when VSYNC is turned on.

the freezing that happens, i had it back on my old pc, with a GTX970 , upgraded to a 3070 TI, problem solved.

It doesn't matter if the game is 15 years old, if you have a high HZ monitor and you're getting low FPS from it, the screen freezes or the game doesn't seem smooth to you.

I have a computer that will get 300-400 FPS in the game, the only problem is that more than 125FPS is not allowed in the game, this is only valid on this server.

Specifically this is covered under the last one here:

333 is a known glitch/bug/cheat, keep it at 250fps or less.

Think it's unfair to call it a cheat. Different fps levels alter the game mechanics in different ways. 125/250 have benefits/disadvantages over 333. I was playing a bunch in a deathrun server earlier in the year, and they'll toggle between all three to maximize the advantages of each. 125 for example will have benefits over the default 85. Is it fair to call that a cheat?

Ultimately I think it boils down to what the admins/owner of a server allow/disallow. Expecting everyone to think 333 is disallowed because of the last line is dubious, especially when other servers/gametypes allow or even encourage it. It should be clearly stated as a rule.

I would prefer to be quiet about this but since I have a background, yes FPS transitions are a particularly needed feature on deathrun servers.

Let me explain, each type of fps has its own characteristics. 

If you get 125 FPS; You can run fast / When you jump, you fall fast to the ground

If you get 333 FPS; This will help you when you try to jump to a far place, also when you try to jump somewhere it will be slow and when you start jumping you will see that you are moving heavily.

In Deathrun, we use it when jumping to the tracks or to finish the map short in special areas. 

We call these rooms "Secret"

Believe me, I say it with all my heart because I have a 144Hz monitor, when I try to get 125 FPS, I can feel the screen stutter.

Getting 333FPS on this server won't help anyone because instead of jumping with 333 FPS, you can jump as 125FPS. The problem is that if someone wants to go out of the map, they can go out again at 125 FPS. If you want to limit FPS, limit such FPS.. You need to ban low FPS like 1FPS or 30FPS.

Footnote: This is not a cheat, I think it should be at least 250 FPS instead of 125FPS.

Footnote: 333 FPS was never considered a cheat for me, at least as far as I learned from deathrun server

Footnote: Everyone's problem is in this video every time a new round starts. Automatically makes FPS 125

Footnote: And it does this at the beginning of every round, I do not press the button to change the FPS.

Who knows how many people write to the console like this to increase Fps in each round.. I just don't want the server to go into this situation, this is really bad for people with high speed monitors.

Bottom line is that we don't allow an fps of 333 on our servers.  It's been that rule for many years.  Our servers are for fun, not competition, and we don't want areas exploited on maps that most people can't or won't go to.  If you can only get to an area with a strafe jump and/or an fps of 333, than it's generally not a spot that's allowed.

* Yes I know what can be done with 333FPS but I also wrote it because I think it should be at least more than 125fps.

* Okay, you're right, because of the rules, I said at the beginning that it doesn't matter. but you can at least limit it to 200FPS, you will avoid freezing. ( Delays on the screen )

i'd never even heard of it, i never use the consol at all, and play as normal setting 125, and as most know, you'll see me normally frozen in mid jump due to a 13 yr old pc

is this valid for all XI servers? I understand better how some players manage to always be on the roofs or the highest places!!! while I can't jump that far or that high with my 125 fps

The thing that people don't understand is that the person who wants to jump on the roof, or the person who wants to get out of the map can get out again.

At the beginning of the round, they can jump wherever they wants by increasing the fps value again.

But they think it's limited to 125 FPS. And they think that people will comply, at the beginning of each round, people can jump anywhere they want by increasing their FPS values again.

Frankly, I'm sorry, most people, including me, often increase the FPS value in order not to freeze, people who want to go out can also do this, you do not prevent this.
