Hey everyone I have been putting off and hoping for another miracle...I have received some very bad news from my daughter Jessica a month or so back and well just did not want to share with everyone for the time being...Today Jessica turned 34 and we do not know if she will make 35 as she has been diagnosed with end stage congestive heart disease and has a very low ejection rate (was as low as 16%)...She has shown some improvement in that area with meds (36%)...She was sent home with a lifevest heart defibrillator for now and still hoping she can get some more strength back in her heart... She had this underlying and had failed to be diagnosed at another hospital for at least 2 yrs (multi stays)...They kept treating her for anxiety and oddly she went to a different hospital for the first time and they caught it straight away...The hardest thing ever was telling her she would not die from this but she is at peace and knows in her heart it is Gods will not Ours...With covid I dare not travel to be around her and that is tearing me up more then her... The plus for her is she has never smoked,drank or partied and her lungs seem good so she could be a good candidate for a transplant if they can get her on the list...I am not a kind of person who shows stress or worry but deep down im scared to death...God has been more then Gracious to me and my family with more miracles then I can count on both hands and im just going to ask if you are a believer and you pray Please pray for her and her care takers and her family and keep them in your thoughts... Thank you everyone I will try to update as I can...For now it is the waiting

Good day all, Our Vietnam freezetag is popular among our regular members and guests who enjoy this type of team play, the mod itself is great however are limited to the number of maps we can play on it and the number of players. Server does get busy during the afternoon hours but mostly busy in the evenings (EST hours). On many occasions, the server is full an only other option is one of our DM servers which is not the same of course. This week, >XI< has brought on a new COD5 freezetag server running the straight openwarfare mod, can be found here (IP 149.56.146.76:28960). Our intent is to have another place for players to go when the NamFT server is full or just want a change. By change, the freezetag on openwarfare will allow us to play maps that are typically not able to run on the Nam mod. The new server is set up similar to the Nam server as this seems to be the pace and style people like but can be tweaked to our liking. A map rotation has just been mostly loaded with maps not playable on the NamFT server. map mp_506th map mp_alcazaba map mp_bellicourt map mp_downtown map mp_dock_assault map mp_dogville map mp_burma map mp_ederdam map mp_fatherland map mp_feba map mp_foy map mp_freedom1 map mp_konigsberg map mp_gustav map mp_kalsville map mp_gb_karkand map mp_koshiki map mp_little_village map mp_mohaa_dasboot map mp_newsicily More maps will be added as they are tested. And by tested, I mean maps that load and don't crash the server or the client (you folks ). I'll need to rely on you for the rest. During gameplay, if there is any issues with a map (ie. too small for freezetag, bad spawns, glitchy, etc), I would very much appreciate your feedback here so it can be marked. Maps I know that are too small I will be excluding but have a couple hundred maps to go through since I don't have a record of maps for openwarfare freezetag. Hope you all enjoy. For the past week, CIs that last a minute or two have been happening very frequently. At least once or twice every round and they can last minutes. I know others have been experiencing similar problems (at least they say they are). I've noticed that during these times my ping is fluctuating, but not always by a lot. Sometimes, it floats in the mid 100s, sometimes it will spike much higher. It is not consistent and I have felt the CIs when my ping was low 100s like it normally is (usually 105 - 110). I can record some of these to prove they are happening because I get a lot of flak when I whine about them - I know it is funny to see me struggle. I disconnected my mike for a until this stuff clears up so that no one has to hear about it. Imagine how frustrating it is for me to be playing well, running to their spawn, and then continuously dying because it feels like you are teleporting around and stuff is not where it is supposed to be. I have even started sniping a few maps because I cannot run-and-gun with these issues. I know a few admins have seen me lagging out visibly in game. I'll continue to look at my own home network but none of my kids seem to be experiencing any problems at the same time I am. Assuming the others are not bull-shitting, it seems to be happening to more than just me.

From what you have said it sounds like it is not a server issue as they would affect all players at/for the same time. You mention other players having similar issues - are they happening all at/for the same time and if so is it a common subset of players on the server? Most commonly this is a regional node/routing issue. These are outside our control as could be with any number of companies involved from your ISP to our host. A diagnostic measure that you can use is to run a trace route (tracert) command from the Windows command prompt when the issue is occurring and post the results here.
