A few years ago I found out that one of my old friends from my UT 2000 gaming days killed himself. He was super depressed. His girlfriend at the time was cheating on him and she was pregnant with another mans kid. He pretty much did everything he could for her and nothing worked. He disappeared for years, and then I found out he killed himself due to depression. He stopped talking to everyone, stayed to himself, he had a good job, but the pain was eating him up inside. We all go through things in life, and we have our ups and downs, but if anyone who is reading this has thoughts of ending their life or ever has, you need to reach out to someone - XI or not. We are gamers, but most importantly, we are a family.

So strap in cause this is a long one. A few months ago I lost my engagement ring. I'd piled on a few pounds over the lockdowns and it no longer fit on my ring finger, so I had to wear it on my pinkie for a bit, but it was a little too big. So one evening it slips off my finger round my house. I noticed about 5 minutes later when I got into the car and it had gone. We looked all over but couldn't find it, naturally I was devastated. Fast forward a few months and @SgT.Chris sends me a photo from his house. It's my engagement ring. My only theory is that it slipped off into my hoodie pocket and when I took my hoodie off round his it may have fallen out onto the floor. Where did he find it you ask? In the cat tower, there's a little hidey hole in the base and he found it in there. So the question is: did my tiny princess hide it to keep it safe? Or is she just a little shit who likes to steal my stuff? What was your in-game name?: Blackdogs2 What is your game GUID (if known): Why do you think you were banned?: I was being Killed on the spawn over and over and over by Nacho and he was mouthing me off and laughing and well he finally poked me enough to say something and told him to cut it out and let me play the game then Nacho sent me my first warning for being breaking the rules of some sort then he proceeded again as he was laughing and spawn killing me then asked him again to stop. Then he sent me a second warning for I do not know why which upset me more which lead me to my ban. Do not really understand why I was banned for asking someone not to spawn kill me. I just wanted to play. I dont really want to sit at the computer and not play. I log in to play and joke around just all of us old guys do. I have never disrespected anyone in this server for as long as I have been a member. Can you please help me on this? The only one I know who understands what I am talking about is Spinpuppy whom I have played with for years. If there was some solid fact why I was actually banned I wouldnt mind making it right. I just dont think Nacho liked me personally but nobody has to like me, but do not think I should be banned for that. I have got along with the majority in the DM servers. On a web site that is well known to be full of vids promoting conspiracy theories, wouldnt it be prudent to error on the side of things there being bullshit without some kind of proof by others much more reliable? This was not only on the internet... but an actual publication. Therefore, it must be true. After all, its the worlds only reliable newspaper. They said so and that also must be true. Actually this first appeared in one of those old email chains before the Internet became mainstream. Remember those? Got em all the time and good for a laugh. But still a huge number of people believed it no matter how many times it was disproved to be a hoax. However, these days, its easy to make such things that include fake 'proof' (many sites do it for you) and doesnt help when distributed by sites that never check whether something is bullshit, including big name sites with huge audiences, and even then will do nothing when it is shown to be that. And then you get complaints by well known people believing such things getting on the air and complaining about censorship and vast conspiracies when taken down. To the point that some in power try to change laws because of 'it'. Whatever 'it' is, pick one. Its stuff like this that destroyed any faith I had in the intelligence of this country.

Like VHS/Betamax, there were also the BD / HD-DVD wars that of course had an ultimate winner. But in this case BD was the better of the two from a technical and capabilities standpoint. However HD-DVD also lacked things like region locks and better DRM. Which various media and software companies didnt like. Funny since most BD's dont do region locks anymore.
