The Wife and I are heading to the Eastern side of the Cascades to our friends house outside of Winthrop Wa. about 25 miles south of the Canadian Border and about 75 miles from where Ogopogo lives. She is going to spend the week Horseback Riding during the day and riding me at night. I am going to be fishing for Lunker Trout with my buddy who is part of the areas Trout Fishing Club and is taking me to his fishing honey holes. So I will be spending the next week in Honey Holes except when I am sleep or eating or burning a big fat one in the evening. Smoking weed while fishing is mandatory since I don't drink booze any more.

Using a brain cell or two to think of the scope of it: Millions of babies in the US vs at the most a couple hundred at the border hmmm and it didn't even hurt to come up with a reasonable conclusion that It's bullshit!

Nice pics everyone. Here's my baby. Currently out of commission with a hot rod causing fuses to blow. Waiting for a replacement I do the usual chicken, salmon and burgers, however a couple times a month I'll get up (or before I head to sleep!) around 2am to toss on a pork shoulder for pulled pork. Will post the next smoke when back in action.

it rained almost the entire way down here. Sun came out after we arrived and it turned out to be a nice afternoon. We spent about 2 hours cleaning up sand from the storm last week. There was almost 6" of sand underneath the house (where we park) and a couple of inches on the deck and screened in porch. Finally got the drone out a few minutes before sunset last night to take a look around. The storm last week took its toll on the dunes and washed a couple of houses out to sea down in Rodanthe a few miles south of here. I went to Catholic Schools. Those old bags would whoop your ass quick as shit if you even think about talking back to them. Had mu knuckles bloodied a few times by a Nun with a ruler. Funny how I swear more than a kid that went to a regular school does. It's those mean old Nuns and Den Mothers fault I tell you. Going from Catholic Grade and Middle School to a regular school was very very hard. Back then all of the teachers and the principal had big wooden paddles. Some were just 1"x4" oak planks with a handle but some were larger with holes in them. Some were 1 handed and some were 2 handed. @Icequeen you can paddle me any time you want ok? lol

Seems that WIC has been sending Semi truck loads full of baby formula to the Border detention center warehouses. You can thank "You know who" for that as well. And the Abbot similac baby formula plant in Michigan Recalled there products and closed down temporarily due to some sort of Germ Contamination. The new Abbott Nutrition plant in Sturgis was supposed to start production 2 days ago. They stated that it may take six to eight weeks to restock store shelves. Michigan plant representative said this. "Subject to FDA approval, we could restart the site within two weeks. We would begin production of EleCare, Alimentum and metabolic formulas first and then begin production of Similac and other formulas. From the time we restart the site, it will take six to eight weeks before product is available on shelves,"

RIP Starfire. Another family member gone too soon. A great guy who was always fun to play with. Always a good time playing with him and our COD2 people for many years. My condolences to the family. He will be missed.

Argh! I am very sad to hear Stars passing. He was an incredibly easing going individual and a joy to game with. You could always count on Star to be respectful and to make any server a fun place to be. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Stars family and loved ones. Pete (Ter)
