The multi-vehicle crash occurred shortly after 6 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 about 30 miles (48 kilometers) north of Tampa, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release. The pileup began when one semitrailer clipped another while changing lanes, officials said. That forced other semis to brake, but one failed to stop and collided with a pickup truck and another one of the stopping semis. The semi that failed to stop was filled with cases of the Silver Bullet beer. Minor injuries were reported by the occupants of the pickup truck, the news release said. The inside shoulder and travel lanes were opened to traffic by 8:30 a.m., and the rest of the roadway was reopened around noon, troopers said.

Here's the scanner I was telling you about: https://www.crucial.com/store/systemscanner One thing to bear in mind if you upgraded the current system with a new graphics card is making sure it would fit the case, as the case looks quite small. Also that the psu would be able to handle it. Assuming I've found the right system on the hp website, the power supply is 310w which is low. Something like a 1050 is on the smaller side, so that might work, and only seems to need a 250w psu, although that might be pushing it. Some sites suggest 300-350w. Maybe a 1030 These cards are an upgrade on the onboard graphics, but still on the lower side as far as playing modern games with decent fps. Might be better just to wait until you were upgrading everything, if you decide to wait. Could always try an ssd/nvme first and see how much of a difference it makes. Decisions, decisions, haha.

Looking at the specs in the Amazon link, it is an old style hard drive. Upgrading to an ssd/nvme should provide a large performance/productivity boost for programs like photoshop and lightroom. Not to mention just for general day to day performance. If budget isn't too much of a concern, you could look at a 144hz monitor for gaming, if you don't already have one : ) Which graphics card do you currently use?

What do you use for storage/external storage right now? Are they ssds/nvmes or old hard drives?

Also: with the new architecture & platform, if you buy an AMD gpu to pair with the new Zen IV cpu's, the cpu will be able to use the GPU'S memory, when needed, during RAM-intensive processes like video editing, encoding. This is if you buy the new platform. I'd wait 'til the attendant bugs shake out that are inevitable with new platforms & standards being rolled out.

AMD is releasing new architecture & cpu's in a week from today. This means their current chips & architecture should drop in price even more, making for an excellent opportunity to buy at a great value. You should be able to get the 12 core 5900x for around $300 in the next week or two; an exceptional deal & more than enough for your requirements.
