Crossed a milestone today. Wish it were a happier one, but it's still worth noting. Turned 60 years old, and six years after the death of my wife, Lori. Little disconcerted from reading the statistics and talking with widowers, but most men in their 50s who lose their wives don't make it to 60. Neglect, depression, drugs & alcohol are the leading factors, but I think lack of direction and purpose play a big part. This life is a gift. Live it with a sense of wonder, because you'll never expect the marvels that unfold, and it's the only one you're given. Enjoy the great things, learn from the downturns, but never forget, you may not have been dealt the greatest hand, but you were granted a seat at the table, and the cards were yours to play.

I want to wish everyone a Happy New year! I hope everyone has been well, missed you gals and Idiots a lot especially all my fellow admins and mods. I know you all missed me! I've been missing for a while due to some big projects that have basically taken up all my time. Including several big trips with my family to Dominican Republic Bahamas Costa Rica London and Paris for Christmas and New Years I've also embarked on a new hobby that I wanted to do a long time ago restoring and customizing a vintage (1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000). I'll post pictures in the forums of the car for you automotive enthusiasts. Looking forward to getting back into the games

Had rent WAY under market value as had been in home 11 years, landlord threatening to sell and trying to serve us eviction notices, we could have fought him for a year or two as our tenent boards are so back logged, but, we took our lumps (and 4000 cash for keys deal to move) and left. Went out Saturday January 7th after playing some COD2 TDM at about 10:30 and had my limit by 11:20am. Pictures to follow

I have a 15 inch cast iron frying pan I use for this sort of thing and a few others. Most of these Rainbow Trout are over 1lb which for where I live they are well above average. I know that where you live @Labob you would use fish this size as bait however remember a good Angler can catch anything with a little research or local knowledge. I plan to pan fry them after breading them in egg and seasoned flour in medium high heated veg. oil and only turning them once. About 5 minutes a side is good enough if you let them sit for a few minutes before server, because they keep cooking as they rest and no heat to burn the breading. Lot's of way to cook Trout and these sell in the store around here for $12.00 a pound whole fish with head.

Of course there are flat earthers here! We have some serious idiots!

A guy is sitting on his porch when his blonde neighbor walks out to her mailbox. She opens the mailbox, looks in, colses it up and walks back into the house. I just got a new computer as well and am waiting for Penguin to help me because I have no idea what I'm doing and I can't get COD4 to work. I hate being blonde sometimes!!
